Hey, dear readers! I come to you today with another post about my new cosmetics, this time it will be to Alverde, a natural makeup from DM Drugstore with good ingredients. Every time I see a Dm Drugstore, I have to go there to buy a stock of cheap products with great ingredients.
Today I wanted to show you my recent purchases from the Alverde closet, namely spray fixer, concealer, highlighter, mascara, cream lipstick, eyeliner and other products for everyday makeup. If you want to see how they worked for me and see the color swatches, I invite you to continue the review.
Alverde, natural makeup, Big Drama Lashes Mascara
Description:

My opinion:
I have no major needs when it comes to my eyelashes. According to the manufacturer’s promises, the mascara is supposed to thicken and lengthen them, but I didn’t notice anything like that. They are simply covered with black mascara, more visible. The brush is huge and hairy, so I find it very difficult to handle, it’s too big for my eye. It’s physically impossible to paint the lower lashes, let alone the upper ones, on top of that the mascara dries slowly, it bounces on the shadows. I spend more time cleaning up the mess after painting than on the mascara itself. On top of that, with me the effect is not very visible, maybe it will work better for someone who has sparse eyelashes, although I don’t know how a normal person is supposed to put such a big brush between the eyelids. I can’t stand it, frankly, and I wear it out, dipping the old Alverde blue mascara brush in the mascara, which was precise and thin.

Makeup fixing spray, Alverde fixer, Fixierendes Spray

My opinion:
I use this type of spray rarely, for big outings, so that my makeup doesn’t look “powdery” and lasts longer in good condition. The Alverde Fixer worked well for me in this role, helping to achieve a natural-looking complexion and making makeup last a bit longer. The product is reasonably priced for a tiny bottle and has a decent composition, unfortunately there is alcohol as a preservative, which can dry out the skin, and the addition of extracts instead of artificial polymers is a bit sticky. The bottle has a good atomizer, but the mist could be finer. It’s worth a try, although there are many similar alcohol-free sprays on the market.
Alverde, natural makeup, Kajal Eyeliner, eyeliner, shade Pearly White
Description:

My opinion:
I often use this type of crayon in my daily makeup for the inner corner of the eye and waterline. The Alverde crayon comes in a typical planing pencil, but has a good performance. The consistency is quite soft and buttery, so it doesn’t cause pain during application. It stays on for a really long time with me, and the color is not too white to look weird on the waterline. It enlarges the eyes and makes a tired look fresh and radiant. I really enjoy using it.
Alverde Coverstick, Face concealer in pencil, shade 01 natural
Description:
Alverde’s concealer consists of plant oils and natural wax. It covers redness, dark circles and imperfections. It does not contain preservatives. The product is vegan.
My opinion:
This concealer is supposed to be for everything, but I bought it mainly to clean my eyebrows after painting. It has a sharp, precise tip and a light, beige-yellow color, which is great for this. Instead of playing around with a concealer brush, I’ll do a quick touch-up with this crayon and I’m done. It looks really decent, although it is a bit too thick, buttery. I had to buy a sharpener for it, because it’s a thick crayon, but I don’t need to plan it often.
It’s also great for covering small spots and pimples, blemishes and even dark circles under the eyes, though then you have to blend it out and I think it dries out my under-eye skin, it’s heavy and buttery. Great for going to anything.
Alverde, Lip Cream, Brown Harmony 10, Lip Cream
Description:

My opinion:
As soon as I saw this novelty in Czech Dm Drugstore, I squealed with joy and of course I had to buy it, although it was quite expensive. I love how natural brands mimic the big cosmetic shows and release such interesting products, but with good ingredients. After all, it looked like a typical liquid lip poamdka, and I chose for myself the shade brown, which is a beautiful medium ruddy.
Unfortunately, the disappointment was cruel. The lipstick has a light, lilac color, too light, it looks like a concealer on my lips. And it behaves the same way, it does not set at all, after rposty it covers the lips with a layer of cream-corrector and gets sticky. I had no idea what to do with it and how to use it. The Internet did not show any reviews, so it lingered in the closet until I took to it again. I added dark pigment to change the color. I fill in my lips with a dark brown lip liner, on top of that I apply the lipstick to the center of my lips in a tiny amount, just like a gloss. This is the only way I’m somehow able to use it up, although it still looks weird.
Edit: I see that Alverde has long since discontinued these lip creams, apparently I ended up with an ill-conceived product. Perhaps it’s just not possible to make a natural liquid lipstick without a microplastic.
Alverde, Rouge Tint & Highlighter color soft peach, liquid face highlighter
Face Highlighter. Gives the skin a silky soft shimmer. Can also be used on the eyes and cleavage.
I’ve had the same highlighter for a long time, but in a pink shade, while on sale I managed to hunt down its version in a slightly more peachy color, shimmering to a warm gold. The highlighter provides a wonderful effect in the corners of the eyes, as a blush topper and on the neckline, as an eyeshadow and even as a gloss. Conclusion:
I’m happy with these Alverde cosmetics, and I’ll definitely be tempted to buy other colors of glosses, shadow palettes and foundations, as well as limited editions of cosmetics, as soon as they’re available at our DM Drugstore.
