As soon as I found out that the cheap drugstore brand Essence has changed its compositions and a large part of the products are now clean baauty, I immediately ran to pick something for myself from their cosmetics closet.My eye was immediately caught by these cute palettes with an unusual shape. Essence In Love With Rose eyeshadowpalette. Essence In Love With Rose is an eyeshadow palette consisting of 10 neutral shades with matte and satin finishes. All of the shadows have a smooth formula that glides on seamlessly, ensuring application without any residue or rolling in the creases.
The In Love With Rose palette contains pigmented eyeshadows to create both day and evening makeup looks.

My opinion about Essence In Love With Rose:
Packaging:
The palette is adorable, with an elongated shape and bird prints on the lid. It contains 10 eyeshadows and I think it was a limited edition. The palette is very small, and all the shadows come in different shapes and sizes. I like the fact that the most used ones are the largest, but it also has a disadvantage, the small ones are so small that it is difficult to put a brush in them. The palette has a few flaws, but they are mostly limited to the packaging; the cheap plastic on the lid that quickly fell apart and I can’t put it up or take it on the go.
Features and colors:
In the cheap palette we get 10 shadows: 4 true matte shades, 2 satin shades, and the other 4 shades are flashes. I also like the fact that the palette has two parts, a nice pinkish-beige shade for daytime and a maroon-gray shade, as if for smokey eye for evening. However, this also allows me to use it for two seasons – perfect for spring as well as autumn, winter. You can see from the zetem that the palette has a good use with me.
The two darkest matte shades are a bit weak, but the others are highly pigmented. The formula of the shadows is nice and smooth. The texture is a bit powdery, a tad runny, but they spread well and last all day on an eyeshadow base.
As for the composition, I don’t remember it today, but I checked it several times in applications and was sure it was fine for me. The volatile silicone might bother someone, but it’s what makes the shadows spread so well.

Conclusion:
I think at this price Essence In Love with Rose is a great little palette. The palette has a few flaws, but they are mostly limited to the packaging; cheap plastic that quickly fell apart. As for the eyeshadows themselves, they are non-toxic and inexpensive, they surprised me with the quality of their pigmentation, they are definitely perfect for all nice occasions and big outings. I, for sure, will buy more shades, because for everyday life I would prefer nuances and beige browns. The composition is good and the price is really minimal, so it’s definitely worth a try.
