Hello, darlings! Today I have something delicious for you – keto donuts or cheese donuts baked in the oven. Donuts and donuts are an inseparable dessert tradition on Fat Thursday. Everyone loves them, so it’s no wonder they’re so popular.
However, if you’re on a keto, lchf, atkins, gluten-free, or sugar-free diet and can’t afford deep-fried donuts, this recipe is just for you. Keto cheese donuts are very easy, quick and always successful. Warm and ruddy, fragrant donuts will surely appeal to everyone, and they are more healthy than those traditional, heavy and full of sugar, which we remember from home cooking. Recipe for: Keto cheese donuts baked in the oven
- 50 g of fine coconut flour
- 250 g fatty white cheese (diced)
- 2 medium whole eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- vanilla oil, cinnamon
- eythritol ground in a grinder, frosting or dark chocolate coating
Time needed: 1 hour.
Keto cheese donuts baked in the oven
Sift flour into a bowl, add erythritol, powder and mix all dry ingredients thoroughly with a spoon. Then add wet: cheese, eggs and oil. Mix well with your hand, adding coconut flour if necessary so that the dough is elastic.
Knead the dough in a bowl, when it combines well, form a ball from the dough. We put it on a sprinkled table and knead. If you have a donut mold, form a roller and place the pieces of the roller in the mold’s cavities. If not, roll the dough flat to a thickness of approx. 1 cm and cut out circles with a glass. In the middle of each we cut a circle with a glass and we have donuts.
We heat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with paper and place the donuts with small gaps, bake for about 20 minutes. We make sure they don’t burn. Cool the finished donuts on a grate and sprinkle with ground erythritol and/or cinnamon.
Baked keto cheese donuts, my comments:
We sprinkle ready-made cheese donuts with erythritol ground in a coffee grinder, according to tradition, instead of powdered sugar, but we can also decorate them in a colorful way, like donuts – icing, keto chocolate coating or make icing with lemon juice and erythritol, sprinkle with nuts or sprinkle with coconut flakes.
The recipe also makes quick and easy small donuts: form the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with paper.
