Black Tea rinse | How to dye your hair naturally?

Today I have prepared for you another post about natural hair dyeing methods – black tea leaf rinse.

Black tea is the most popular warm drink in our country, so it is very cheap and easily available. This herb will not only dye our hair, but also has a strengthening and nourishing effect on hair roots – it helps against excessive hair loss.

People usually don’t believe that any herbs or natural mixtures can change the color of the hair, but this time I promise you that this works! When I was in high school, that is quite a long time ago I used this lotion, almost every time I washed. Tea rinse gave my hair a deeper shade and shine that varied from reddish to warm brown depending on the light. My color has definitely changed and it’s a plus, the tea also gave me shine and softness. To the extent that no one believed me to dye my hair … ordinary tea. I am very sorry that I forgot about this method for a long time, but now, when I wear bronze again, I decided to come back to it.

If you are interested in how it works in the form of this simple lotion, I invite you to the rest of the entry.

Black Tea rinse – how does it work?

Tea works well especially in the case of dark hair, because it emphasizes the dark hair color, it can additionally darken or lighten and warm it depending on the initial color, in gray blondes it can add an interesting shade, and it adds smoothness and shine to brunettes – it can leave a warm shine.

Natural hair dyeing methods – are they effective?

People usually don’t believe that any herbs or natural mixtures can change the color of the hair, but this time I promise you that this works!
When I was in high school, that is quite a long time ago, I used this lotion all the time, almost every time I washed. I had a typical European medium brown, which didn’t look extraordinary at all. However, I did not want to start dyeing my hair, especially since there were no henna in the stores or natural paints, and the chemical ones had terrible compositions and even worse colors. Do you remember how the whole street was bright red and auburn, even elderly women? 🙂

Fortunately, I learned about this method from a magazine and decided to test it, especially since there were a lot of packages of some old tea in the house, leafy, very strong and unpalatable; no one wanted to drink it. So she made a strong brew in a cup and rinsed her hair after washing with it.

Every now and then I make myself a lotion to raise the color and shine of my hair. They will pass beautifully in the sun! The addition of linseed and aloe brilliantly moisturizes them, especially after this harsh summer sun. I highly recommend my simple hair rinse recipe!

Tea rinse with black tea

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons (or 3 bags) of black tea
  • Water
  • Linseed
  • 1 tablespoon aloe juice / gel

Execution:

Preparation of tea rinse:

  1. Pour tea and seeds into a bowl. Pour a liter of boiled, hot, but not boiling water.
  2. Cover the infusion and leave it to stretch.
  3. Optionally, add aloe juice.
  4. The brew should be strained before use.

How to use a hair rinse?

Use the rinse after washing your hair and after rinsing the conditioner. It’s best not to spray the hair with it, just soak it by putting the whole head into the bowl, dip the head and carefully pour the scalp into a smaller container – a cup, a bowl, etc. Then you can rinse your hair with clean, cool water.

Or, for a better effect, leave the brew on your head for a while longer. Wrap the hair with an old towel / foil cap and leave the rinse for about 30 minutes to let the hair absorb the dyes. Unwind the towel and dry the hair as usual. Do not rinse your hair with water anymore, but it is a good idea to apply b / s conditioner to the ends to avoid overdrying.

It is enough to use such a rinse once a week to maintain and deepen the effects of darkening and natural hair dyeing.
