Hello, dear friends! I have another makeup post for you today: I’m going to discuss Essence, clean beauty lip liners, that is, with good ingredients- less toxic to the skin, although not always completely natural.
As soon as I found out that the cheap drugstore brand Essence has changed its compositions and a large part of the products are now clean baauty, I immediately ran to pick something from their closet. It fell on the new colors of lip liners, in beautifully ruddy shades, just in time for autumn. Are you curious why I decided to use Essence brand this time, and how did it work? I purchased these at the ridiculous price of about PLN 4 in a promotion. They are typical crayons in such a pencil for tempering, with a plastic cap that breaks easily. Unfortunately, the writing with the shade in the new version is only on the caps, it’s easy to get lost in this.
Features and colors:
As soon as I found out that the cheap, drugstore brand Eseence had changed its ingredients and a large part of the products are now clean baauty, I immediately ran to pick something from their cabinet. It fell on the new colors of lip liners, in beautifully ruddy shades, just in time for autumn.
My shades are my advice, my mind, my way. At home I also had two crayons from the older lipliner series, which also delighted me with the composition. They are 05 soft berry and 10 transparent. They are the kind of typical brown and ruddy pinks, lighter and darker – I mainly contour my lips with them. Soft berry is a beautiful berry shade that I usually wear solo, all over my lips.
The translucent color is a univariant pencil under any lipstick, waxy hard, also perfect under red liquid lipsticks that smudge. Also a full lip base to prolong the life of lipsticks. As you can see, this one wore off the fastest for me and is now in the denko project (I invite you to tic toku).
Indeed light and velvety texture. The crayons are buttery, very soft. They glide smoothly on the lips and are easy to paint with. They have good pigment, making them efficient and long-lasting. It is more difficult to make a line on the eyelids, but for blending they are suitable.

Summary:
Essence crayons surprised me with their composition and quality, they are definitely perfect for all nice occasions and big outings. I, for sure, will buy more colors. For everyday use I would prefer retractable lipliners that don’t require planing, but these are more eco-friendly. The colors are gorgeous, the composition is good and the price is really minimal, so it’s definitely worth a try.
