Hello, dear friends! Today I have prepared for you another post about DIY cosmetics, this time it will be nail oil, for brittle and damaged nails. This is a natural and homemade cosmetic, which we can make for ourselves at any time from semi-finished products, and even from food products from our kitchen and pantry.
So it’s quick to make and extremely inexpensive, plus it’s organic! The recipe has worked very well for me and now, during the autumn chills, I use it almost every day to further nourish my damaged and brittle nails. So I would like to share it with you. So if I have interested you in a recipe for homemade oil, I invite you to my post.
Recipe for DIY natural nail care oil
Ingredients:
- bottle and small funnel
- a tablespoon of base oil- castor oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, etc.
- a few drops of precious oil: avocado, argan, etc.
- a few drops- fragrance oil, such as vanilla, patchouli, citrus
- possibly food oils- orange and vanilla, cream oil
- Vit. e- a few drops
Implementation:
Time required: 5 minutes
- Preparation. We select and measure the oils. We wash/steam the container for the finished oil.
- Mixing. We pour the selected base oil into the container. Then we add the precious oil. We mix thoroughly.
- Fragrance. Finally, we pour in a few drops each of the selected essential oils, food grade or flavored oils. With essential oils, be careful, but food ones I usually add more, even half a bottle each.
- Preservation. We add vitamin e for preservation of the product and better skin care. We mix again. (You can skip this step, the oil should not spoil quickly if you make it in such a small amount).
- Done! A natural cosmetic ready for use.
- You can change the scent of the oil each time to a different one, I love orange and vanilla and yang yang and patchouli and citrus.
