Venita, news in natural hair care

First impressions:

Anwen is a Polish, natural cosmetics brand, created by one of the most famous hair bloggers. All products are handmade and properly packaged ecologically, so I’m not surprised by their price, slightly higher than for cosmetics that I would normally buy in a store. However, looking at the composition, I think they are worth it. In addition, they have great opinions and reviews, collected over the years.

The best thing about these products is that they were created by a person who not only really knows about hair care, it is her passion and work, but also contributed a lot to the hair blogosphere (instead of just repeating long-known facts).

In addition, the cosmetics match the porosity of our hair, i.e. their real problems and needs, and this is something that no brand has come up with yet. (And he probably won’t copy it, because ads like “our shampoo will regenerate your damaged hair in 2 seconds” sell cosmetics better than a niche, ecological company, unfortunately).

Coming back to the cosmetics themselves – of course I had to open them right away, smell and test them, after all, I feel like a child who got a Christmas present a little earlier.

I’ve been testing Anwen cosmetics for only a month, so at the beginning I can write about my first impressions, but I’m sure there will be reviews of all cosmetics here – I know from my instagram that you are waiting for it very much! Me too 🙂 I can’t wait to wash my hair again to test more of these things. I would love to shower twice a day! A real home spa for my hair.

I liked the Anwen Grapes and Keratin mask the most, because of the effects that appeared on my hair – after each use. They are incredibly soft, the strands are silky and shiny even after the gel, and the delicate fragrance lasts for a long time. I already know that it will be my go-to mask to grab before every important exit. You can see a big difference: if not my hair! I really recommend.

I also really like the idea of a set of small nutritional supplements, it’s great for a gift, testing before buying and for any trips. I immediately incorporated them into my hair care routine. Here I like the magnolia scent the most – divine! And when it comes to action, it’s emollient, maybe because I used it most often. I know some people emulsify oils with it, but for me it’s a waste, it’s thick enough to treat it as a quick mask, to keep under a shower cap. Great for closing care and retaining moisture in the hair. I will definitely buy a full size bottle because my hair doesn’t always like every completely emollient conditioner like the one from Anwen. Worth the price? Sure.

I’ve also used oils – apricot oil as a serum for the face and hair ends during the day – I feel sorry for such a small bottle for hair oiling – while I used Happy Ends at night. Although I usually use more silicones and I miss it a bit, the ends remain in good condition. Unfortunately, the serum is a bit heavy, especially for curly hair. I will try to test them on wet hair after washing.

To sum up:

I think that Anwen cosmetics are a great proposition for everyone, not only a beginner hair maniac. We have everything explained what and how to use and we can adapt the products to the needs of the hair. The compositions and smells are simply wonderful! Let’s not forget about the graphic design – printing on cardboard and very aesthetic, floral packaging, look elegant on my shelf in the bathroom.

A great idea for a Christmas gift for a hair maniac who wouldn’t spoil herself with such a beautiful set of cosmetics.

Do you know these wonderful cosmetics? What would you test?
