Hello, dear friends! I have another makeup post for you today: I will discuss Pixi Beauty, Itsjudytime shadow palette, which is the best palette for fall: with warm browns and light glitters.
Pixi by Petra is a medium-shelf drugstore brand from the US, but one that has a lot to do with the clean green beauty movement. These makeup and skincare products usually have great formulations without harmful chemicals, and the packaging is adorable. I bought this product some time ago when I ordered directly from Ulta’s website two Pixi palettes for myself as a birthday gift.
I was just discovering natural makeup and, unfortunately, nothing with good ingredients was available in Poland yet. I’m very happy with my purchases of these natural makeup colors and love using them to this day! Are you curious how this Pixi shadow palette worked out for me? Feel free to read the rest of the review.
My review of the Pixi palette:
Packaging:
The Pixi palette came packaged in a cardboard box and is enclosed in a not very elegant, but sturdy, plastic packaging with a stamped logo and color description on the back. I like the fact that thanks to the transparent cover, we can see the shades right away. It looks like something cheap from a drugstore, but despite the fact that the plastic is thin nothing has broken off or cracked, even despite two trips. The package also included a detachable mirror, so you can stick it anywhere.

Pixi color and swatches:
Pixi Beauty itsJudyTime Palette ($24) is a makeup palette created by the brand long ago in collaboration with YouTuber, itsJudyTime. I confess I didn’t know anything about it, and I was guided in my purchase by the warmth of the colors. There are twelve eyeshadows in this palette with quite a large capacity. I like the variety of shades, which have matte and glossy finishes, you can easily do a simple day makeup as well as a glamorous evening makeup.
The shadows blend well and have very little fallout, and the pigmentation is satisfactory. I like that there are transitional shades in this palette, so I don’t have to try to find them in other palettes, but still, Pixi has some shortcomings. The typical beige for blending is missing, and the brown transitional shade is much too dark. There is also a very warm or even orange shade to choose from, which doesn’t save the situation. The two dark browns look almost identical, and while one is supposed to be cool, it doesn’t show on the eye.
Summary: Pixi, a shadow palette
This palette is definitely for those who like warm eyeshadow shades, typical for autumn or subtle for everyday, but can also be easily turned into an evening look. It’s definitely worth a try, as the composition is natural and the quality is quite good.
Do you know Pixi cosmetics? Do you have your favorite eyeshadows for autumn?
