Hello, dear friends! I have another makeup post for you today: I’ll be discussing Pixi Beauty, Rosette Palette, Rosy Radiance, which is an all-purpose shadow and powder palette for the face, perfect for travel and in a hurry for everyday use.
Pixi by Petra is a medium-shelf drugstore brand from the US, but one that has a lot to do with the clean green beauty movement. These makeup and skincare products usually have great formulas without harmful chemicals, and the packaging is adorable. I bought this product some time ago, when I ordered directly from the Ulta website two Pixi palettes for myself, as a birthday gift. Are you curious how this Pixi shadow palette performed for me? Feel free to read the rest of the review.

My review of Palette Rosette, Rosy Radiance
Packaging:
The Pixi palette came packaged in a cardboard box and is enclosed in a not-so-sleek, but sturdy, plastic box with a stamped logo and color description on the back. I like the fact that thanks to the transparent cover, we can see the shades right away. It looks like something cheap from a drugstore, but despite the fact that the plastic is thin nothing has broken off or cracked, even despite two trips.

Shadows and powders:
There are eight eyeshadows and three powders in this palette, which has quite a large capacity. I bought it because I thought it would be an all-purpose palette of eyeshadows and face powders, perfect for travel and in a hurry on a daily basis, you know, to lay open on the dressing table and have everything at hand. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out that way. This palette is definitely only for big outings, not for everyday use.
The shadows blend well, but some do shed quite a bit, and the pigmentation is satisfactory. I like that there are transitional shades in this palette, so I don’t have to try to find them in other palettes, but still, Pixi has some shortcomings. This palette, with the exception of the brow powders, is all in flashes, I need more matte shades for everyday makeup. The typical beige one for blending is missing, and the brown transition shadow I have to take from my eyebrows and is a bit waxy, so it sometimes stains. The champagne shimmers look almost the same, and so do the dark browns.
The face part is their topers rather than blush, bronzer and highlighter, it’s overly pigmented and too dark, so it requires a bit of a light hand, and you can hurt yourself in a hurry. Definitely an evening makeup for heavily tanned skin, even so, when applied carefully and gently, it gives a very nice effect.

Conclusion:
This palette is definitely for those who like warm eyeshadow shades and strong flashes, typical for an evening look. It’s definitely worth trying, as the composition is natural and the quality is quite good. I don’t regret my purchase, as it was an interesting experience and I still love using it, although I expected a more natural effect.
