Nivea curl forming spray, alcohol-free hair spray

Hey, dear readers. Finally it’s time for more styling reviews on my blog, so I decided to tell you about Nivea, Curl forming spray, curl and wave styling spray. In the blogging world of curly-haired people, a mousse from the same series is very popular, but I was most interested in this Curl forming spray, which is the first alcohol-free hair spray available in our country, as well as the curl styling cream from this series, whose review has long been on the blog.

If you are curious how it works for me in all these roles, I invite you to the rest of the post and my short review.

Nivea curl forming spray, my opinion :

I’ll admit that I’m prejudiced against the products early on, by the company’s policy. I tried for a very long time to purchase the entire Curl series from Nivea, also you sent me many requests to review the series, but at first they were not available anywhere. Meanwhile, the company treated bloggers who wanted to test cosmetics reliably poorly. So I gave up with my review, because the varnish was not available in any store. However, about a year later I saw this series on discount because they were being withdrawn from the store, so I decided to give it a chance and test it.

The cream is part of a series that also includes a mousse and polish. I wish I could have tested it so along with the mousse, I would certainly have had a better hold. The spray is very reminiscent of hairspray, and is supposed to work similarly. As an owner of wavy curls, I want to get every fixation and hold I can get. So I tested it before blow drying my hair, on styled curls, spraying my hair from the bottom. I wait a while for it to dry and then lightly knead it still. Sometimes I also use it to curl my curls on rollers. It works quite well in both roles, indeed it fixes my curls for a long time.

However, it glues the hair together a little too much and then it’s hard to comb it out, sometimes it makes a frizzy broom. That’s why I use it more for bigger outings, as an alternative to hairspray. The pluses are the lack of alcohol in the formulation and the addition of dry oil, nice scent. It has a good capacity, with almost a full bottle left.

Conclusion:

I think Nivea spay may work better as a hairspray replacement. Nevertheless, it is a pleasant product. It is worth trying the whole series and see for yourself, the compositions look really good, and they are often on promotion. Nonetheless, an interesting product, and I’m glad that such a huge cosmetics corporation has thought of giving curly-haired people something like a healthier hairspray. Even if its formula could be better refined.

Are you familiar with the Nivea Curl series?
