Maudi, new cosmetics in my natural care

Hello my love! I come to you today with new novelties in my care, this time they are oils and hydrolate from Maudi.

These are multifunctional cosmetics straight from nature that we can use in face, hair and whole body care, and we can even consume them, thus supplementing the care with active ingredients from the inside. The package for testing included oils: avocado, macadamia, strawberry and rose hydrolate.

I am glad that there are natural products with such good compositions on the cosmetics market. On the other hand, prices are not excessive, especially for such a simple, multi-functional cosmetic, which is cold pressed, good quality oil. So I’m glad that I could try them out for myself. If you are interested in how these cosmetics have worked out for me, I invite you to the rest of the entry.

First impressions about Maudi

Package

The whole series of Maudi oils has a very aesthetic and functional glass packaging – bottles with prints that somewhat resemble pharmacy cosmetics, and are certainly associated with natural cosmetics or even cosmetic intermediates for making diy home cosmetics. The cap is secured, so we are sure that the cosmetic is fresh, no one has unscrewed it before. The information on the packaging immediately suggests how to use each product, which is definitely useful.

Action

It is immediately apparent that Maudi oils are fresh and of good quality, cold pressed and well protected against oxidation. The package came to me in ecological packaging, for which they also give a big plus.

I will start with the product that I used most often, i.e. macadamia oil. I was supposed to make DIY breast care cream from it, but due to lack of time I stayed with the oil itself, which works great as an independent cosmetic. It is not too greasy, moisturizes the skin after bathing and is quickly absorbed. I noticed a slight tension and smoothing of the skin, so I am of good cheer and will continue testing. Certainly, however, it would work better in a duet with shea butter.

I use strawberry oil for everyday, evening face care – in a duo with aloe gel it works brilliantly, helps moisturize dry skin and soothes irritation caused by skin exposure to the sun. I believe that it has some anti-aging effect, which we will find out in a few years. It has a delicate, pleasant aroma, is light and beautifully absorbed into the skin, especially sprayed with rose hydrolate in the form of tonic. I also add it to diy strawberry seed peeling, because that’s how it fits here!

I use the hydrate to moisten my face in the form of mist during the day, especially in hot weather and as a tonic. Sometimes I use it as a foundation for hair oiling.

Hair oiling is done mainly with Maudi macadamia oil and avocado, I think they are very dry, because they drink it almost completely, they are also great for eye area care. Avocado oil is already denser and fuller of other oils, i.e. it is great for dry skin, moisturizes, nourishes and soothes. I also use my hands after housework. It is very efficient and nutritious. We can also add a few drops to the hair mask or to the face clay. I will definitely try it in a salad, although I feel a pity to use valuable cold pressed oil. It is better to make homemade face serum …
