Hello, dear friends! I have another makeup post for you today: I will discuss Couleur Caramel, Eye Essential, a palette of pressed mineral eyeshadows. I am familiar with this brand of natural makeup products thanks to a past collaboration, when I had the wonderful opportunity to test a few of their products.
I really liked them, so when a friend was selling her eyeshadow palette, I was immediately tempted. With its shades, it reminds me of the iconic, well-known palettes, but the quality and composition is much better than them. My opinion about Couleur Caramel, shadow palette:
Packaging:
The palette is enclosed in a classically long, cardboard and eco-friendly rectangular packaging. Its top part has elegant lettering and is closed with a magnet. At the bottom we have color information pictures showing how to combine shades. The palette includes a decent mirror and brush, is sturdy and decent, looks aesthetically pleasing and has a large amount and capacity of shadows in relation to the price.
Features and colors:
I’m a fan of eyeshadows in warm colors. For quick makeup and everyday wear, such colors work best for me. The palette contains 12 shades. Among them are several matte and shimmer shades, in typically everyday shades: beige, brown, green, brown and black, as well as a few in more evening colors. The palette is thus suitable for both day and night, and in my opinion is also year-round; that is, completely versatile.
The shadows are very well pigmented, as they are pressed mineral pigments. When applied to the eyelids, they smudge well and look intense. The formula of Couleur Caramel shadows is pleasant and smooth, buttery. They spread well and last a long time. I haven’t noticed any flaking or crumbling around the eye. They don’t form stains or disappear from the eyelids, nor do they smudge. I apply the glitters with both my finger and a brush, they can be layered and always look great. I recommend, not only for late autumn.
Conclusion:
I think that despite the high price, this is a great, very versatile shadow palette for everyone. These are non-toxic and inexpensive shadows, they surprised me with their pigmentation and quality, so as natural and everyday cosmetics they work familiarly for me.
