Hey, dear friends! Today I come to you with a review of products from Wibo, Rimmel, Revlon, Lovely i.e. former favorite drugstore cosmetics in my makeup. These will be powders, face primers and concealers from well-known drugstore companies that have worked well for me and I can still recommend to you.
My top 5 drugstore cosmetics, if we don’t pay attention to natural ingredients. If I have interested you in these cosmetics, I invite you to my short review.
Revlon age defying, Face Illuminator, illuminating bronzer, shade Bronze light 040
A product I brought back from a short vacation in London, purchased for one pound in the Poundland store. It actually worked well as a warm bronzing highlighter on my face as long as I was tanned, but I always thought the shade was too dark for me. I soon used it only on my arms and legs, and then it fell into oblivion. It wasn’t bad, although I don’t understand the idea of combining color for contouring with highlighting. The tube is soft and the product has a brush in the stopper, which makes the application terribly unhygienic, on top of that it always brings up too much product. MImo all was an interesting experience for the price.

Essence, eye pigment, shade 02
Pigments that everyone once knew, bought at the Essence stand as a counterpart to Mac and Kobo, at a fraction of their price, and with the same sensational quality. The product is loose, housed in a tiny jar, despite this great capacity. Not sure why it had an expiration date of 6 months, making many people panic and throw it in the trash, yet there are only artificial pigments in the formulation. I wish I had bought more shades. This one works great for me as a rusty, metallic bronze shimmer on my eyelids, especially in makeup for fall.
Lovely, Extra Lasting, matte liquid lipstick
I bought it as soon as the craze for matte liquid lipsticks started. It was also my first product of this type. I liked such a darker shade to wear in the beginning of autumn, and the lipstick was well pigmented, quite long-lasting and comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, after a while it started to dry out my lips, and applying a base afterwards resulted in it bouncing on my teeth. MImo I used up the whole pack in a couple of months, which is already an indication of something.
Rimmel, Extraggerate, waterproof eyeliner, shade 290 precious gold
A crayon that was given to me by my sister, but comes just the same from a pound store. I love its shade of dark gold for evening makeup in the style of brown smokey eyes, but it is also useful for coc day, autumn makeup. Also good as a base under other shadows. Long-lasting, medium-soft, really waterproof, unfortunately it hardened quickly and started to crumble, so it went to the bottom project. The crayon is twist-out. It has an unhygienic, but useful for quick application – a sponge.
Wibo, Diamond Skin, loose illuminating powder
Would you believe that ob ate powders used to be on promotion for 5 zloty each? I remember, because I bought Wibo’s illuminating powder in stock just for the box with the strainer, when it crashed from my mineral foundation. Nevertheless, I liked the effect the product gave on my cheeks. It was quite coarsely milled and had particles, so it wasn’t a taffeta, more of a glitter, but golden and beautifully shimmering in the sunlight. I liked using it on my cleavage and body. A product worth trying out for yourself, although it sometimes makes quite a mess. The holes in the strainer are large and not screwed on, so too much product always comes out.
Wibo, Fixing powder, Loose setting powder
I had the same problem with the loose setting powder from Wibo – the packaging is made of cheap, thin plastic and has ill-conceived holes. the powder itself was good, for such a low price there is nothing to complain about. It doesn’t do spectacular effects, but it’s finely milled, mattifying and fixing, although in my case it doesn’t last very long on my face and in the summer I often find myself singed out.
Conclusion:
Drugstore makeup products have worked for me because they are cheap and good, efficient and well formulated. They completely meet my expectations and I will definitely still recommend them to you.
