Banfi lotion for hair growth: nettle and burdock

Hi, folks! Today I have a long-promised post for you, a review of Banfi nettle and burdock, other varieties of the popular horseradish and Lady Banfi for fast hair growth.

Even though I love making my own cosmetics, it is a bit of a time-consuming fun. That is why it is great that this Hungarian company is here to help us grow long and healthy hair, because this cosmetic has just such a task – to strengthen the bulbs and stimulate growth. A long time ago I made a review of the first and most traditional version of this cosmetic – Banfi in a red bottle. It worked great for me and I have bought it many times since then. I also used Lady Banfi with a slightly milder fragrance, but very similar, fantastic effect on my hair and scalp.

But then I decided to try something different and give my hair a break from using such strong extracts in an alcohol rub. As I visit my family in Hungary, I have access to these cosmetics for a normal price – about PLN 15, and not as it happens in Polish drugstores, where Banfi costs from PLN 25-35 per pack. During a visit to the DM drugstore, I just caught the eye of herbal cosmetic varieties – burdock and nettle. I was not convinced of them, because the composition and smell are very similar to typical Polish hair lotions, i.e. herbal extract based on alcohol. However, they have a much higher concentration of the herbal extract. I was also convinced by positive opinions from the Internet about their effectiveness in accelerating hair growth.

So I decided to try these cosmetics and bought one type of each of these rubs. Of course, right away with the reviews for you in mind, because surely as you are wondering if it is not worth leaving the ordinary version of Banfi, which has a much richer composition. So if you are curious how her herbal variations proved to be good for me in this role, I invite you to read the rest of the post.

Thanks to the content of nettle extract, the wcierka reduces oily scalp.

Banfi lotions for hair growth: nettle and burdock

Banfi lotion, my opinion:

A long time ago I made a review of the first and most traditional version of this cosmetic – Banfi in a red bottle. It worked great for me and I have bought it many times since then. I also used Lady Banfi with a slightly milder fragrance, but very similar, fantastic effect on my hair and scalp. But then I decided to try something different. As I am visiting my family in Hungary, I have access to these cosmetics for a normal price – about PLN 15, and not as it happens in Polish drugstores, where Banfi costs from PLN 25-35 per pack.

Package:

White bottle, made of thick plastic. Vintage print, colorful, aesthetic, greenish. Unfortunately, the packaging does not have an applicator or a funnel, but it has a huge opening, so something often spills out. Finally, we buy the cosmetic with the neck protected with foil. There could be at least a spacer and a smaller hole.

Smell:

The smell of Banfi lotions is one of the biggest concerns when using it – especially the traditional version of Banfi. Fortunately, the herbal versions are devoid of this smell, they smell like herbal alcohol extract, a light note of basil. It quickly disappears after application as the alcohol evaporates. Of course, if you are concerned, always use the cosmetic before washing your hair or add an essential oil or a nicer-smelling liquid conditioner to it, it will definitely improve the aroma a bit. In the hair, I assure you, nothing can be felt.

Effectiveness:

Banfi Wcierka is dark in color, it smells of alcohol and herbs. The composition is good, although the very high alcohol content raises a lot of concern, but you will not feel it when you use it. I have a problem with alcohol products myself, but this time I didn’t have to worry. Initially, I used Banfi lotions about 2-3 times a week, after each washing, on slightly dry hair. The herbal version, however, did not stick my hair as hard or weigh it down as normal, so I used it every day afterwards. The syringe method I wrote about earlier – thanks to this, the product is very efficient and lasted for a long time.

After finishing both versions, I find that my hair really grew much faster. I also don’t have any falling out. In addition, the hair is fresh and lifted from the roots longer, I can wash it less often, it is less greasy than usual. The product for me was effective.

Summary:

As I have already mentioned, it is a very effective cosmetic. It has great potential to maximize hair growth, so I have high hopes for it and will continue to use it regularly. I have a lot of baby hair and a lot of roots, and my scalp health has improved.

Banfi Wcierka is great for beginners because we see results quickly and it’s easy to use. It will definitely help people with oily hair, itching and dandruff. This product is efficient – it has a large capacity, adequate for the price, it is definitely worth taking a closer look at.

However, the usual Banfi lotion worked much better for me. After it, I had significantly greater growth and better effectiveness in growing hair, reducing hair loss and a huge rash of baby hair. That’s why I recommend herbal varieties to test, either if we can’t buy Banfi or Lady Banfi or if we want to take a break from it. And also for all those who cannot withstand the horseradish smell of the usual version. However, if we want maximum effectiveness – unfortunately we have to come to terms with it and get tired.

Let me know if you use lotions and which ones have worked best for you. I am very curious about the results!
