Hey ! Today I am coming to you with another short review – this time it will be Ziaja, Intensive Color Hair Mask , castor oil.
This cosmetic has been in the brand’s offer for a long time, I remember it even from my high school days, but some time ago it underwent another graphic design change. The mask I bought a year ago had a simple white design with red lettering. Perhaps the old packaging was already withdrawn at that time, because I remember that I got it at a very good price in an online pharmacy during Black Friday, i.e. without shipping costs. Net profit!
However, it still has the same great performance for a small price. This is one of my favorite products for protecting hair ends and removing care. It contains castor and sunflower oil and is emollient. A real gem for literally pennies! If I have intrigued you with this cosmetic, I invite you to read the rest of the review.

We buy the Ziaja mask in a plastic, screwed package secured with silver foil. I have nothing to reproach him with, it’s good to pick it up this way and we can be sure that we are buying a new product in which no one has dipped his fingers.

The effect of the Ziaja mask is intense color
The Ziaja mask has a slightly artificial, cosmetic smell. However, it is not too intense and does not stay on the hair for long, so it does not bother me at all.
I bought the Intense Color Mask and the Ceramides to use them as a closing treatment. The mask contains silicones and is emollient, so it should weigh down the hair nicely and smooth it. She did well in this role. Unfortunately, it is thin and flows from the fingers, it is more bitter than the ceramide one, and it is difficult to apply the right amount. I sometimes apply a small amount to completely wet hair and I have the impression that it flows or disappears in the hair, while a larger amount weighs my hair down. Of course, she always combs it into the ends of her hair.
Due to this rarity of the product, it was extremely efficient and I had it for a long time – maybe also because both Ziaja masks were opened and used for the same purpose, alternately.
Will the mask help with color protection? it just sounds like a marketing ploy, but I appreciate the castor oil content and the pleasant, simple composition and effective ingredients, e.g. emollient, polymer (film forming substance), silicone, castor oil, sunflower oil, panthenol.
The mask is used traditionally as a treatment under a shower cap, it makes the hair very easy to comb, soft and smooth.
I also remembered that once my mother had two Ziaja masks in the shower, they were very rare and unfortunately did not do much good for the hair. Of course, bought because of the cheapness.
However, I am satisfied with the results and for such a good price I think it’s worth a try. Even because of the smell and composition as well as availability, literally in every drugstore and the price of about PLN 7 for 200ml. I will not re-purchase, but in some time I will also try other versions of these masks.
Have you used this cosmetic? Can you recommend other cheap masks?
