Hello guys! Today I have another makeup post for you: I will discuss Pixi, Shea Butter Lip Balm, a coloring lip balm with shea butter. Pixi by Petra is a medium-shelf drugstore brand from the USA, which, however, has a lot to do with the clean green beauty movement. These makeup and care products usually have great compositions without harmful chemicals, and the packaging is charming.
I bought this product some time ago, when I ordered two Pixi palettes for myself, directly from Ulta, as a birthday gift. I was just discovering natural makeup and, unfortunately, in Poland nothing with a good composition was available yet. So I bought a lipstick as the cheapest thing to add to the order in order not to pay expensive for foreign shipping. I was hurt by the high price of a colored lip balm, which I can easily make at home or buy at a drugstore. However, I have read many reviews that the pigmentation of the product is great and it will easily replace the best lipstick, natural and with a wonderful shade.
Indeed, I chose the most beautiful of the three shades of dirty brown pink that perfectly mimics the deeper color of my lips. I am very pleased with this effect and I love to use it until today! Are you curious how this Pixi lipstick worked for me? I invite you to read the rest of the review.

Pixi lipstick is closed in a not very elegant, but nice, plastic package with an embossed logo and a color corresponding to the lipstick. Thanks to this, we can also see the shade immediately. It looks like your typical drugstore lip balm, and the plastic is thin and has broken off the plug on each side a long time ago.
Color:
I bought a shade of Natural Rose, it is a neutral, brownish, dirty pink. I have read many reviews that the pigmentation of the product is great and it will easily replace the best lipstick, natural and with a wonderful shade. Indeed, I chose the most beautiful of the three shades, which perfectly mimics the deeper color of my lips. Typically “your skin, only better”, this shade is light but not too pale, it just looks natural and beautifying, I am very flattered. I am very pleased with this effect and I love to use it until today!

Properties:
This is not actually a slightly tinted lip balm, it reminds me more of a creamy and moisturizing lipstick with good pigmentation. The product has a light, sweet vanilla scent, but it is not overwhelming, you do not feel it when applied. It is very moisturizing and works well for dry chapped lips. It resembles raw shea butter, but is not greasy, heavy or too waxy.
I wear it every day for quick and simple makeups when I want something quick, moisturized and easy to touch up. I also carry it in my purse, because whenever my lips are dry from other lipsticks, I just put it on at the end of the evening and I don’t care. Leaves lips smooth and healthy-looking. I have no objection, except that it is a bit too expensive though.
Summary: Pixi, Shea Butter Lip Balm
This lipstick is definitely perfect for all nice occasions and everyday outings. Every day I love such lipsticks with the addition of moisturizing oils, and the Pixi lipstick has the perfect shade for me, cares for my lips, which is her huge plus and is also very durable. It’s definitely worth a try.
