Kallos, Hair Pro-Tox, strongly regenerating mask

Hello guys! I come to you today with another review of hair care cosmetics, this time it is the Kallos Hair Pro-Tox mask. Kallos are very popular hair masks known from the blogs of hair maniacs, which used to break records of popularity. No wonder as they were very cheap, good and accessible.

Such a universal mask with a poor composition and thin consistency was perfect for washing hair, emulsifying, closing care such as B / S and of course for tuning DIY or homemade masks and conditioners. Once I used up the Color and Banana masks, now it’s time for a regenerating keratin mask. I used it when I was visiting my sister, and since I liked it very much, I was given half this liter jar as a gift for further testing.

The name and description suggest that the cosmetic is to be another alternative to Olapex. Indeed, it has a better and richer composition than other typical Kallos, more oils, collagen, moisturizers and hydrolyzed keratin that could smooth and tame damaged hair. If you are curious how cheap Kallos proved to me in this role, I invite you to the rest of the post and a short review.

My opinion:

Kallos are very popular hair masks known from the blogs of hair maniacs, which used to break records of popularity. They were very cheap, good and accessible. The most famous type was the Kallos Color mask because it was purely emollient, with linseed oil friendly to many types of hair, especially curly. At one time, it was a hit when washing hair with conditioner. However, it soon turned out that these cosmetics are not so pure – they contain Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone, also known as ” itchy Msy” or “Msy” , which are allergenic preservatives. They cause scalp itching and / or hair loss in some people, so a lot of hair maniacs have either quit using these cosmetics or are only applied from the ear downwards, avoiding the sensitive scalp, so they cannot hurt us.

I used to use Color and Banana masks myself, and now it’s time for a regenerating mask with Kallos keratin, Hair Pro-Tox . It really worked well for me, both as an early-stage mask, under a cap and a towel for a few minutes, and for closing the care for the very ends of the hair.

Typical Kallos do not work as a light conditioner after washing your hair (especially with a strong detergent shampoo) because it will be much too light conditioner for us, it will not help our hair to nourish or weigh it down. Here we have a much richer and better composition, we have both oils and proteins – keratin and collagen, as well as moisturizers. So it is a PEH conditioner that is suitable for frequent use, especially for damaged hair. The mask was creamy, not too thin, and it wasn’t dripping from the fingers. After use, the hair was always smooth, soft and easy to comb. Cosmetic fragrance, a bit strong, but surviving.

Summarizing :

It is still one of the cheapest cosmetics with a nice composition that we can buy on the hair market. The price for such a capacity is excellent, I don’t even feel sorry for it for everyday use, emulsifying or washing my hair with a conditioner. If you are not afraid of allergies or you only want to use the length of your hair, I recommend trying it.

Do you know the Kallos masks?
