Hello guys! I come to you today with another hair care cosmetics review, this time it is Babushka Agafia , balm and shampoo on cedar propolis .
I remember when the hair blogosphere was overcome by a craze for Russian cosmetics. It was then that I bought a few Russian hair care cosmetics myself – they were extremely cheap, and their descriptions tempted with a wonderful naturalness, what kind of a change after the chemical conditioners full of silicones, which then reigned on drugstore shelves. I especially liked the thin and runny hair balms, which were average as masks / conditioners, but they were pleasant to wash and emulsify hair!
Babushka Agafia, Balm and shampoo on cedar propolis were my favorites, you can say so, because I had two bottles of them, and yet they are huge amounts! It happened so by accident: I bought a shampoo and lotion on sale. The shampoo was a sprinkler and I liked it on average, but I was using it slowly, but the lotion was so pleasant to use that I ordered another bottle of it at a drugstore online. It turned out that someone had mistaken the stickers on the Russian packaging and I was sent a shampoo … Of course, when I tried to condition my hair with it, I am surprised by the new formula that it is so smooth and foamy … But the drugstore quickly corrected the mistake and I got it. a new, free lotion along with a free one, which I consider a very nice gesture on their part. In this way, I tested both of these products twice. I must admit that I still have fond memories of them. If you are interested in more about how this shampoo and balm worked for me, I invite you to the rest of the post.

Babushka Agafia, balm and shampoo on cedar propolis, my opinion:
I remember when the hair blogosphere was overcome by a craze for Russian cosmetics. It was then that I bought a few Russian hair care cosmetics myself – they were extremely cheap, and their descriptions tempted with a wonderful naturalness, what kind of a change after the chemical conditioners full of silicones, which then reigned on drugstore shelves. I especially liked the thin and runny hair balms, which were average as masks / conditioners, but they were pleasant to wash and emulsify hair! Unfortunately, it quickly turned out that here we cannot trust the composition of cosmetics, the INCI record in Russia is different than what is required by our law, water full of extracts may have different concentrations, and sometimes full of harmful preservatives, which the manufacturer does not have to specify at all. Nobody knew about it then, but fortunately I was never hurt, and I love Russian balms as cheap washers to this day.
Package:
Both products come in a huge bottle with a click stopper that extracts a tiny amount of the product. It’s a plus with shampoo, but in the washing conditioner … I had to unscrew the lid. The capacity of cosmetics is 550 ml and one year for their use. The smell of both products was sweet, floral-honey-herbal.
Action:
The shampoo was a typical herbal ruffler with a creamy and thick brown texture, and I liked it on average – it dried and tangled my hair. However, I was slowly using it, not only for my hair, but also for the shower. The shampoo, however, is extremely foaming and efficient. My partner, however, had no problems with it and was happy to use it to the end.
On the other hand, the lotion was so pleasant to use that I ordered another bottle of it. The composition includes a mixture of water with extracts and oils, emollients and antistatic agents. The consistency is quite thin, but not as dripping from my fingers as in other lotions, it did not run off my hair, although it was difficult to get such a flowing conditioner early. My hair treated only with it after washing was under weight and slightly dry with herbs, coarse and dull. So I quickly started using this lotion as an emulsifier, washing machine and OMO cleanser, here it worked brilliantly. It was pudding, creamy, fragrant and pleasant. It didn’t irritate anything, and the hair was fluffy, soft, and bouncing off the root. For the price – great.
Summary:
I must admit that, despite everything, I have very fond memories of these cosmetics. I especially liked all the Russian thin and runny hair balms, which were average masks / conditioners, but which were pleasant to wash and emulsify hair! These products are efficient and worth the low price, they are definitely worth taking a closer look at.
