Hello, dear friends! I have another makeup post for you today: I will discuss Alterra, Eyeshadow Palette, No. 01 Nude, which is a drugstore shade with good and natural ingredients, clean beauty. As soon as I found out that the cheap drugstore brand Alterra is available in Polish Rossmans, I immediately ran to pick something from their cosmetics closet.
My eye was immediately caught by these adorable nude palettes, typical “everyday, warm Nudes”. Are you curious why I decided to reach for the Alterra brand this time, and how did the shadows work out for me? Feel free to read the rest of the review.

My opinion about Alterra, nude palette:
Packaging:
The palette is traditional, reminiscent of makeup packaging from years ago, which is typical of the brand. The bottom color is blue, and the top lid is transparent. It is rectangular in shape and holds 5.6 g of product. In the palette you will find an applicator for applying the shadows, it has a round sponge at one end and an oblong sponge at the other end. It contains 8 eyeshadows, so it’s very small, and the windows are so narrow that it’s difficult to put a brush in them. The palette has a few flaws, but they are mostly limited to the packaging; the cheap plastic on the lid, which I feel will come apart quickly, and I can’t take it on the go.
Features and colors:
I’m a fan of eyeshadows in warm brown colors. For quick makeup and everyday wear, such colors work best for me. The Alterra palette offers us 8 shadows, from light to dark brown. Three among these eight shadows are glittery, the rest are typically matte.
The shadows are well pigmented, but when applied to the eyelids they smudge pale and look quite delicate. The formula of the shadows is nice and smooth. The texture is a bit powdery, a tad bit powdery, but they spread well.
They don’t create stains after application, although they are a bit dry. They last all day over an eyeshadow base. The matte shades are better, deeper and darker, the flashes come out paler and are less pressed, so they will also be less effective.
Conclusion:
I think at this price, Alterra nude is a great little palette. These are non-toxic and inexpensive shadows, they surprised me with the quality of their pigmentation, and they are definitely perfect for all nice occasions and big outings. It’s definitely not the quality we’re used to from the big, typical makeup brands, but as natural cosmetics and for everyday use, the shadows work well for me.
