Hello, dear friends! I come to you today with AA My Beauty Power cosmetics: essence, toner and eye cream, another new addition to my face and body care. Aren’t they beautifully colored and so pleasant to use? I was tempted to buy them by the good ingredients, full of active ingredients, and good reviews on the Internet.
I love all essences, so it was clear that I would reach for it. A lightweight eye cream-serum for summer also interested me, as well as a tonic with niacinamide. You’ll surely know AA products from store shelves, they’re available in drugstores, inexpensive and maybe not exactly organic, but they’re characterized by their high content of naturally derived ingredients. First impressions of AA My Beauty Power:
Aren’t they beautifully colored and so pleasant to use? I was tempted to buy them by their good compositions, full of active ingredients and good reviews on the Internet. I immediately got down to testing them, the colors and fresh scents of the cosmetics set me up with positive energy from the very morning for the whole day.
I love all essences, so it was clear that I would reach for this one. The lightweight eye cream-serum for summer also interested me, as well as the tonic with niacinamide.
TheAA eye cream surprised me. It is a gel, or maybe a serum, light and watery. It absorbs fairly quickly, but there is no moisturizing. It has a lot of shimmery particles and gives a light, pretty effect, so at first I used it only under concealer, or rather on the whole face, as a makeup base. For the eyes alone, I had to use tiny amounts, which was difficult because it poured out of the tube for me. The gel finished off the skincare, and worked well as a serum under a concentrated cream. Long-term brightening is also out of the question. Interesting for a change, but rather not for me.
Thetoner, however, turned out to be quite a good product. It’s very efficient if you apply it with your fingers rather than a cotton ball. The tonic contains niacinamide, zinc, AHA acids, which regulate sebum secretion, fight blemishes and imperfections. I love such products with niacinamide. I’ve used it sometimes as a gentle scrub on sensitive cheeks, sometimes as an overnight treatment.
It has improved the appearance of my skin, reduced the appearance of pores slightly, and I think my skin is tighter. The blackheads on my nose look fainter. I HIGHLY recommend it, not just for teenagers for acne. It will also work well as an exfoliating toner.
The essence was fine, I prefer them without the atomizer and at a lower price for such a tiny capacity. Very inefficient in this form, but it was pleasant to use. The atomizer works poorly, but the mist, once sprayed, is quickly absorbed and effectively refreshes, leaving a noticeable, slightly sticky layer. The scent is sweet and makes skin care more pleasant, but it quickly began to tire me out.
To sum up:
My overall impressions of using the new product series are quite positive. Niacinamide, zinc argireline are an interesting moisturizing and anti-aging addition that is definitely worth including in your daily routine. If you don’t mind the too strong fragrance, small capacity and high price, you can confidently try it out. I for one would prefer the company to make fragrance-free, more potent natural cosmetics for people who choose conscious skin care.
