Hey guys! Today I would like to show you another new product in my hair care – Argan Oil: argan, moisturizing hair mask with silicones.
I got the mask as a gift, bought by a friend who knows that I love all oils, oils and hair products for testing. There is a lot of argan oil in this product, but it has little to do with its natural composition. Still, I reached for Argan Oil when I had finished all the other products and needed a simple emollient mask with silicones at the end of the wash to close the hair cuticles. How did it work for me? Feel free to post.

The most important ingredients and their properties
As you can see, this mask is very emollient. At the beginning of the composition, we have light moisturizers, adhesives, then argan oil, which is really a lot, then two silicones and actually the smell. After that, there is the aforementioned keratin and proteins, i.e. the amount that will do practically nothing on our hair.
Argan Oil, my opinion:
The product is placed in a stylish brown plastic screw top jar with an olive top. It looks like a product from a natural series, simple graphic design suggests a high content of argan oil.
I miss a protective cap, the opening of the packaging is huge, the same is not very hygienic application, such as a wet hand shower straight into the jar … :)
As I already mentioned, several series of these products (masks, cheeses, conditioners, oils) also with coconut oil and macadamia are available in England for less than a pound, on the Polish allegro they were twice as expensive.
The product is compact, quite dense and white in color. However, it is not a typical buttery product, the consistency has something gelled about it, it is probably artificially thickened, based on the water content. And the smell is also chemical, not very pleasant.

I don’t think it’s a moisturizing mask, it’s more of a weight-bearing mask. The Argan Oil mask weighed down even my dry, bleached hair. They were easy to comb and shiny, yes, but after two hours they were heavy, tattered, and stuck together, even though I only applied it halfway through. Even when I did not give any other products or silicones after washing … Regardless of the thoroughness of washing, the amount and the holding time – the effect was still the same. Even when I gave it just a little, to the very ends of my hair – loaded dumplings. After a few attempts to use this argan conditioner, I finally gave up.
I put the mask back on the shelf, but came back to it again in the winter. My hair may look stale if I keep it under a hat or in a bun all day, it doesn’t bother me, and thanks to that I additionally protected it from frost and air conditioning.
The argan oil mask has been finished in this way – I used it for a month after each wash, as the last product on the ends, for rinsing. Value for money, I would say. I will never buy again myself, but maybe something else from this oil series. You can test it for a pound.
Summary:
Is it worth buying this product?
Yes:
- as a silicone-oil bomb to protect hair, e.g. against cold or chlorinated water
- as a serum for hair ends, if such products don’t weigh you down
- if we have the opportunity to get it in England for less than a pound, I would definitely look at these series with Argan, Coconut and Macademia, and the knife will you find some cheap gem?
No:
- if you are looking for a moisturizing, full-bodied mask with proteins, butters and oils
- if you have dry, thin hair – most likely such a mask will only weigh it down
Score: 2/5
Have you tested such argan cosmetics?
