Sephora mineral, mineral compact foundation: my review
I must admit that I never expected to review anything from Sephora, especially from their home collection…I only associate this store with expensive, foreign cosmetic brands, whose compositions are definitely not natural or skin-friendly. However, after seeing some reviews, I decided to take a chance. I had fallen for a DIY mineral powder parsimony for my purse, so I figured that if this foundation didn’t work for me, I would at least have a touch-up powder. In promotion it cost about 20 zloty, which is quite tolerable.
It quickly turned out that the mineral foundation for my combination skin with capillaries and blemishes is just perfect. It has good coverage, even strong, after just one layer the face looks good, after two it looks like a liquid foundation. I bought a random light shade, it looks warm and yellow in the package, but I have the impression that after application it slightly adapts to the skin. It works brilliantly with concealer and you can gradate the coverage very nicely. In my case, one layer (a light sweep on the skin) is enough to get what I want. Sometimes I even do a very quick makeup, using only a little concealer and green camouflage, which I powder with this foundation- the whole thing looks beautiful, fresh and elegant. You can also use it topically, like a mineral concealer, because it covers well.
I often use it in the summer, when everything runs off my face, and I don’t want to play with jars of loose mineral foundations. I’m happy with the result and it has also accompanied me to the beach, in the heat of summer. It is light and delicate, covers imperfections very nicely, while leaving a natural effect. There is no mask, no weighing down during the day, no oxidation, no layering and no clogging. It’s perfect for touch-ups – for your purse as a powder plus concealer, which, by the way, conceals. The sponge and mirror help a lot with this.
Conclusion:
This is by far the best mineral foundation for combination and normal skin. Multifunctional because it replaces foundation, powder and concealer. A brilliant invention that I recommend with a pure heart and will buy for myself more than once, not only for the summer.
