First impressions:
Botanic skin food is my first essence-type cosmetic. Convenient bottle of considerable capacity with a pump hides a nice-smelling liquid. It resembles a hydrolate or tonic, and I expected a gel-like consistency. It washes over the face pleasantly. It is almost colorless, straw-colored, slightly moisturizing and refreshing. It does not irritate the skin, does not clog, does not have drying properties. It does not irritate the eyes- with many liquids I had this problem, and I really like to wash my tired eyelids. This liquid does not leave a mist on the eyes or a sticky film on the skin. Great for morning face cleansing in the winter instead of water, it refreshes and awakens, prepares the skin to absorb serums. The product is also very efficient and the bottle lasts a long time. It is also suitable for hair oiling, as it has glycerin high in the composition.
It says on the package that it can be applied in two ways- on a cotton ball like a toner or directly on the face. I used it directly on my skin, patting it in and under the serum. Unfortunately, you have to be careful, because the watery essence runs off between your fingers. A sprayer and/or more concentrated formulation would be useful here. I for one am not thrilled with it, ot- a simple toner.

Sweet almond oil and shea butter lubricate and make the skin surface more supple.

First impressions:
Botanic Skinfood, Rich Eye Cream delighted me with its drugstore jar, huge capacity and capital composition. Although it is a rich cream, the consistency is rather light, runny, maybe not watery, but emulsive. It spreads easily, but I have the impression that it disappears. The scent is delicate, pleasant, but not too strong, however, I would prefer a fragrance-free product. It does not irritate or sensitize. It does its job, lightly moisturizing, but I miss the oily, buttery feel.
The 30 ml for an eye cream is a lot of product, it lasts for a very long time, but the scent quickly begins to irritate and the product gets boring. What bothers me is that the cap is not airtight and that I have to allow air and stick my fingers into the cream, which goes right under my eyes. I struggled to finish it and was heartily sick of it. And then I received two more jars as a gift, which immediately went into the world, and I bought a richer cream in a tube.
To sum up:
Botanic is a natural brand that really caught my eye through its glass eco packaging, good ingredients and colorful prints. Without a second thought, I reached for the eye cream, which has a huge capacity, and the essence. Although the cosmetics didn’t quite live up to my expectations, I can recommend them for a try, because you have to support such good initiatives.
