Hey, dear friends! I’m coming to you today with another post about my new makeup products, this time it will be Alterra primer, foundation, powder: natural makeup with good composition from Rossmann Drugstore.
Today I wanted to show you my latest purchases from Alterra’s closet, i.e. opaque primer, green concealer, t-powder and other products for everyday makeup. If you want to see how they worked for me and see the color swatches, feel free to continue the review.

9 g for £17.99
My opinion:
I bought this primer out of curiosity, as I have never used a compact, and to start testing primers from Alterra, which unfortunately do not have a very good reputation. The foundation is thick and oily, but quite creamy, and I had no problem applying it – with the included sponge, fingers or brush. It’s very opaque, so you can also use it topically as a concealer, for example over bb cream or under minerals.
The shade is just right, blending into the skin. You can also apply it very quickly, in a hurry is a big plus. The only downside is that you have to use a lot of it to cover the whole face. I’m also worried that a creamy product with natural ingredients will dry out quickly, I’ve already noticed droplets of evaporated water collected under the lid. I think that for the coming winter it will be the perfect primer for me, and then I will try to use it all up.

Alterra, Compact powder with pomegranate extract bio
Don’t like shine on your skin? It’s time for Alterra’s compact powder. The powder is easy and even in application and gives a natural fresh look. The micro-fine texture provides a matte complexion and silky-soft skin. Small imperfections and wrinkles can be cleverly hidden. This recipe is 100% microplastic-free according to certified natural cosmetics.
My opinion:
I was tempted to buy this cosmetic when I ran out of powder, kept always in my purse. I wanted a small package with a mirror so that it would be easy to touch up my makeup during the day. I own the lightest shade – 01 Light, virtually no color, which is perfect for fair skin.
The powder is very light, you can say satin-low powder in a nice color that blends with the skin, which gives a nice finish. Unfortunately, the powder contains mostly talc, reminds me of powders from the old days, and hardly mattifies anything. It doesn’t whiten, it doesn’t darken, but you have to touch it up several times when going out and I would prefer it to be mineral, without talc content and other cheap fillers. It does slightly dry out the area under the eyes. It is efficient, after several months of use only the formula has worn off.
Alterra Cover & Correct Anti-Red, a green concealer for redness
Alterra Cover Correct Anti-Red neutralizes unsightly redness and conceals fine blood vessels. The lightweight, creamy formula with organic jojoba oil and organic soybean oil provides professional coverage while giving pale and tired skin a fresh glow.
My review:
I bought this concealer for a few pennies, although I was worried that, like these types of products from Alverde, it would be too runny in consistency and would dry out quickly. This one, however, turned out to be creamier, but not dull and non-staining. In fact, it covers redness and capillaries nicely, but does not leave a strong green pigment. With the addition of a regular concealer on top or foundation, it works well for me and is quite long-lasting.
Alterra Anti-Stress Primer Lavender Facial Primer `Lavender`
Anti-Stress Primer Lavender protects the skin from damage caused by natural and artificial light, such as from a smartphone or computer, and prepares it perfectly for makeup application. Fine wrinkles and pores are optically hidden. With a delicate scent of lavender. The formula is 100% microplastic-free.
My opinion:
Again, a blind purchase and without high expectations, as I liked the pretty bottle, glass with a pipette and similar to the serum. The composition is good, rather moisturizing and slightly smoothing, hydrating. Although it has a soft beige color, other than this care, I didn’t notice that the base does anything. The consistency is pourable, but it sets quickly and you need to use a lot to spread it all over your face. Curiosity, it’s nice that there are such things in natural coloring, it’s pleasant to apply, but it’s an unnecessary step in my makeup routine and I’d rather look for something else.
Alterra ‘Nude Perfection’, Perfect Contouring, Dark Shade
The limited-edition Nude Perfection from Alterra is perfect for you: refined products in delicate shades provide light contouring to the face without looking too made up.
Price: €3.49
My opinion:
Perfect Contouring duo is designed for contouring the face. I bought because of its small size to take with me when traveling. It seems too dark, but on the face it is grayish and light, just the right shade for contouring. Both colors have a soft, creamy texture. The light shade is easy to apply and blends easily, but with the dark shade you have to work quickly because it sets and makes streaks.
Then I read that it was a duo for contouring the eyelids, which made more sense because of the packaging like eye shadows. It also worked well for me in that role, as a quick makeup and a light color as a base for shadows. A multifunctional product, perfect for the vacations. Too bad it’s limited. As the only natural product in a cream, it never dried out for me, although the packaging broke quickly.
Conclusion:
I’m happy with these Alterra cosmetics and will definitely be tempted to buy other colors of glosses, shadow palettes and foundations when they become available. As for the foundation and concealer, it’s not my ideal, however, I will be testing more, but it’s a natural and good quality cosmetic and perhaps it will work better on you. If so, be sure to let me know.
