Botanic SkinFood, the anti-aging skin care set includes a face cream, eye cream and hand cream. I have already reviewed the eye cream in a separate post, so I will move on to the face. The whole set is packaged in a nice, eco-friendly cardboard box, and the products are well protected inside. Definitely a good option for a gift for a lover of eco and natural ingredients.
TheBotanic skinfood face cream has a heavy glass jar and tasteful print. The composition is great. The texture is slightly creamy, but thicker than the under eye cream, it is not heavy and absorbs well.
The scent is wonderful, like shea butter, slightly sweet. Thanks to the texture and scent, it is very pleasant to use. I am quite satisfied with it. It is sufficient moisturization, I do not have tight skin, but something is missing. I only apply it for the day, under a drop of oil, because it is too light on its own, as if it disappears from my skin. For night, I choose another cream with a richer texture.

Botanic SkinFood, Hand Cream `Oat Milk and Rose` is definitely more to my liking. I like the black aluminum tube with an aesthetically pleasing print. The small capacity is perfect for a handbag. The cream contains 15% Shea butter and Tripelargonin-an emollient obtained from thistle. This gives the cream a thick, buttery texture, but it spreads easily and absorbs nicely after a while. It doesn’t leave a sticky layer on the skin, instead it leaves an enveloping film.
The skin of the hands is moisturized and soft. The cream is versatile. It is also suitable as a night hand mask, for feet and even for hair cream, and on trips for the whole body.
To sum up:
Botanic is a natural brand that really caught my eye through its glass eco packaging, good ingredients and colorful prints. Without a second thought, I reached for the eye cream, which has a huge capacity, and the essence. Although the cosmetics didn’t quite live up to my expectations, I can recommend them for a try, because you have to support such good initiatives.
