Banfi, Kallos, Balea, Helia | hair products in Hungary

  • Hair, News

Hey! I have prepared another post for you about new cosmetics for hair – Banfi lotions, Kallos and Balea masks. So the cosmetics I bought during my last trip to Hungary. These are mainly hair masks, conditioners and lotions. It is also another entry in the new series: What natural hair cosmetics should you buy in Hungary?

I thought that maybe someday you will be on vacation in Budapest and want to buy something to wash or hang around the shops. And it is known that cosmetics are the best souvenir, because how practical! So what to buy? Before leaving, I did a little research on natural cosmetics, unfortunately it is difficult to buy cheap and good ones there. The most popular drugstore – from Drogeria DM, Muller and Rossmann prevail. Only in these tiny Asian and Arab shops you can hunt for pearls – oils, butters, cheap Kallosa and Syos, there is even henna! My sister and I did not have to walk on them, but we managed to buy a few things anyway. If you are interested in these hair novelties, I invite you to the rest of the post.

Balea Profesionnal, Kopfhaut-Balance, a soothing scalp conditioner

  • Caring formula with keratin and white tea extract
  • Formula without silicone

Balea Pro Scalp Conditioner moisturizes the sensitive scalp, gently nourishes it and prevents hair drying out. It helps counteract the feeling of tension in the sensitive, dry scalp and restores the natural shine of damaged hair – with optimal detangling. Hair ingredients such as keratin are stored in the hair structure, helping to strengthen the hair fibers and ensuring better hair quality.

Composition:

Aqua | Cetearyl Alcohol | Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine | Glycerin | Glyceryl Stearate | Kaolin | Panthenol | Lactic Acid | Bisabolol | Allantoin | Hydrolyzed Keratin | Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride | Cetrimonium Chloride | Zinc PCA | Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract | Disodium EDTA | Parfum | Linalool | Sodium Benzoate

Capacity: 200 ml

Price: PLN 7

My opinion:

Balea Kopfhaut Balance is a light and cleansing conditioner for sensitive, irritated and dry scalp with keratin, clay and white tea extract. I bought it first to rub into my scalp when I got a slight irritation from alcohol rubs. It worked great for this! It soothed everything quickly, and it was also very pleasant, creamy and enveloping to use. The fragrance is delicate, creamy. After it, the hair is moisturized, very soft and the scalp is less greasy. Something will also work as a conditioner to stimulate hair growth. I used it in this way, and as a washer and emulsifying oil. Not rare at all, perfect. I adore her! I also need to buy a mask from this series.

Helia-D, Regenero, Hair strengthening conditioner

Hair strengthening balm recommended for regular use, which facilitates detangling. The active ingredient of the balm is Regenero Solution from 26 carefully selected herbs, which nourishes and strengthens weakened, broken hair. Thanks to the remaining active ingredients (vegetable protein, niacinamide, panthenol), the hair structure can be stronger, healthier, and the hair is easy to care for. Vegan composition.

Directions for use:

For optimal effect, apply conditioner to hair washed with Regenero shampoos, leave for 2-3 minutes, and then rinse with plenty of water.

Composition:

Capacity: 200 ml

Price: approx. PLN 28

My opinion:

Helia-D, Regenero, is a light hair balm with extracts of 23 herbs. It strengthens and regenerates the hair and gives it shine and volume. It soothes problems with the scalp: irritation and dandruff. The entire series of these products is considered to be one of the most natural products on the shelves in Hungarian DM, including a very tempting lotion with a million plant extracts and vitamins, but they were extremely expensive. I stayed with this conditioner – a balm that had a brilliant composition – rich herbal extracts. Unfortunately, it is very rare, terribly pouring, when I massage it over my scalp after washing my hair, it drips down my fingers, or I use it too much. very inefficient, runs out quickly. The natural, herbal, pleasant aroma and elegant tube are undoubtedly advantages. No irritation, nice effect on growth and loss. I wish I had bought more of this series in time.

Capacity: 300 ml

Price: 1 199 Ft

My opinion:

I walked around cheap Balea masks and conditioners many times, but nothing suited me: alcohol here, and proteins everywhere … However, after reading a few reviews about this mask, I decided to give it a try. The mask has several types of hydrolyzed plant proteins and keratin, and no silicones, which is very rarely used in drugstore supplements. Indeed, Balea is suitable for an in-depth hair regeneration treatment, especially after the swimming pool in the summer. So I use it for hair, under a cap and foil. The mask is very dense, creamy and has a light pink color. Delicate, floral fragrance. Very enjoyable. The hair looks great after it, I arrange soft and moisturized curls. I recommend!

Kallos Color, KJMN, mask for colored hair

The Kallos Color hair mask with linseed oil and UV filter nourishes and nourishes dyed and damaged hair. The UV filter protects the color by extending its intensity and provides shine to the hair. Linseed oil makes the hair silky, soft to the touch and easy to style.

Composition of INCI:

Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Linum Usitatissimum Seed Oil, Citric Acid, Benzophenone-3, Propylene Glycol, Parfum, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone

Price: 4-12 PLN

Capacity: 1000 ml / 275 ml

My opinion:

At one time, the Kallos mask was a hit when washing hair with a conditioner – because it was emollient, with linseed oil, without silicones and adhesives. However, it soon turned out that these cosmetics contain Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone, known as ” itchy Msy” or “Msy” , which are allergenic preservatives. However, it is a great and universal remedy, so it worked for me during my trip. I bought it in an Asian store, where All the little Kallos cost 4 zlotys. One was enough for me for washing my hair, for OMO, for emulsifying and for care, because I mixed it with food products for making DIY masks. The mask was creamy but clear, not too thin, not dripping from the fingers. After use, the hair was always very soft and easy to comb.

Herbaria, Banfi Hajszesz and Lady Banfi, Wcierki for hair growth and loss

Banfi Hajszesz is a Hungarian scalp lotion with an original, unique recipe! Banfi is a liquid full of herbal extracts with a spicy, slightly horseradish scent and a natural color. It consists of pressurized and then filtered alcoholic extract of horseradish, mustard, juniper and oregano. Wcierka stimulates circulation in the scalp, thus stimulating and accelerating hair growth.

Composition :

Alcohol, Aqua, Cochloearia Armoracja Root Extract, Brassica Alba Seed Extract, Juniperus Communis Fruit Extract, PEG-40 Hydrogrenated Castor Oil, Parfum, Origanum Majorana Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Metronhylpional , Geraniol, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene, Carboxaldehyde.

Capacity: 250ml

Price: PLN 15-35

My opinion of Banfi:

A long time ago I made a review of the first and most traditional version of this cosmetic – Banfi in a red bottle. It worked great for me and I have bought it many times since then. I also used Lady Banfi with a slightly milder fragrance, but very similar effects on my hair and scalp. My hair grew much faster, and it stays fresh and lifted from the roots for longer, and I can wash it less often. During the winter time, when I was wearing the hats, I was less greasy than usual. A very successful product, I found it very effective for me.

Banfi, Herbária Co., Nettle hair lotion and burdock hair lotion

During a visit to the DM drugstore, I just caught the eye of the herbal varieties Banphi, burdock and nettle, which in composition and smell resemble hair lotions, i.e. herbal extracts based on alcohol. They also worked very well for me. The herbal version, however, did not make my hair stick together as much or weigh it down as normal, so I used it every day.

After finishing both versions, my hair grew faster. I also don’t have any prolapse at all. In addition, the hair is fresh longer and lifted from the roots, I can wash it less often. The original Banfi, however , was more effective, with it I noticed the fastest hair growth.

When I returned home, I bought one more bottle of each Banfi version, which I highly recommend doing. As already mentioned, everywhere in Hungary they cost about PLN 15 per bottle.

Capacity: 150 ml

My opinion:

A male cosmetic, not a male one, like a caffeinated lotion, I had to take. Good composition, great availability and the bottle has a spout. I was afraid of insomnia from caffeine and alcohol irritation, but I didn’t notice. Very nice, strong and pleasant fragrance, so little masculine, fresh. No sticky hair, very fresh, raised at the roots, less greasy. After rubbing it once a day and Banfi once a day, I saw the effects. Even too good, my hair grew so much that I flew around the shops for henna to dye the visible roots. I recommend!

Terra Naturi, Blonde Henna for hair coloring

PLN 19.19
Capacity: 100 g
Availability: Muller

My opinion:

Terra Naturi henna blond is a great and cheap herbal hair conditioner. Here we have a blend of blond, typical herbs with cassia. There was also henna and shades of brown in this series, but I bought this color to nourish my hair and give it a honey-like sheen. It just happened, I am satisfied with the results. In addition, it was on sale, for PLN 13, which makes it the cheapest herbal paint I tested. Great, I recommend it!

Hennedrog, Henne natur, chestnut shade

Chestnut Henna is a natural plant dye associated with other plants, henna enlivens the hair or enriches it with nuanced reflections. By strengthening the bulbs, it envelops the hair and maintains its vital functions, providing the hairstyle with elasticity, shine and volume. It is a balancing and regenerating hair treatment.

Capacity: 90 g
Price: approx. PLN 7.

The henna from the Arabian shop was a suspect. However, I already had huge roots, so I bought it and after testing it I do not regret it. The color turned out to be medium brown, nice, not too dark, the gray also caught on. Unfortunately, as is usually the case, the indigo sat on top of the hair and it washed off quickly. But it was perfect for the rest of my vacation when I didn’t have access to a hendigo. I do not regret testing, but urge you to be careful in such matters.

To sum up:

I believe that these are very interesting products that are definitely worth testing. And for such a low price. If you are in Hungary, it is worth going to great drugstores for Banfi, but also afro, Asian and Indian stores, because you will surely find many gems for hair care and styling.

Do you know the cosmetics brands typical of Hungary? Asia
