Wibo, Unicorn Tears serum makeup base natural INCI

Hello guys! I come to you today with another review of natural make-up cosmetics – Wibo, Unicorn Tears, a multifunctional product, serum, primer and a 3-in-1 make-up base with a pretty good composition.

I admit that I am not a person who pays any attention to unicorns and other such fashionable things. I bought the primer because at that time it was one of the few options for a make-up base with a good composition. Everything else was sticking to silicones, fillers, parabens etc, it wasn’t good for anything, so I just didn’t use them. But now we have a lot of good compositions and foundations, fixers and bases, which makes me very happy.

However, this Wibo product still remains one of my favorites. If you are interested in this product, I invite you to my short review.

Wibo Unicorn Tears

WIBO Unicorn Tears, nourishing primer and 2in1 face serum

The nourishing primer and face serum 2 in 1 has a rich formula with a dual use: it protects the skin against harmful external factors and acts as a moisturizing makeup primer. Contains 3 fruit extracts: acai, goji and cranberry, known for their antioxidant properties and intense anti-aging effects, and rich in vitamin C, which has a beneficial effect on a healthy skin tone. It makes the skin look healthy and fresh, even under very “heavy” makeup. It is also perfect as a lip primer for matte lipsticks.

Wibo Unicorn Tears

Wibo, my opinion about the serum:

Package:

The brand took care of every detail: we buy the serum in a colored and cardboard packaging, and the product itself is in a pink, glass bottle with a pipette, and it has a colorful imprint. He pops in right away. woko and is associated with something pleasant. Both the bottle and the cap with the pipette are of very good quality, nothing will pour over or leak. A special element pulls excess serum into the walls, thanks to which nothing will spill over us and we will maintain full hygiene of use. The glass of the bottle looks beautiful on the bathroom shelf. All in all, it looks more like a serum for teenagers than a professional base.

Smell and texture:

The serum is in the form of a light pink oil, quite watery, flowing and pearly, almost iridescent. At first it surprised me a bit, but this is just an impression, the face does not have such an effect. I’m just wondering if the promised smoothing and illumination are the result of the pigments.

Wibo Unicorn Tears

Wibo serum has a slight smell, it smells like dessert or vanilla pudding, but not intrusive. However, it does not last long, it is most noticeable during application, then it disappears. The serum is sticky, probably due to the high content of glycerin, has quite a smooth, gel consistency and absorbs nicely without leaving an oily or sticky coating on the skin surface, a rather delicate and satin film, a delicate layer to which our make-up should stick. It actually smoothes and tightens the skin. He did not sensitize me and I did not notice the rash of surprises on my face.
I used the cosmetic directly on my face as a base for only evening make-up and sometimes as a serum.

Action:

Wibo Unicorn Tears serum has a pretty good composition, it contains a lot of substances of plant origin, such as goji berry extract, cranberry extract and acai fruit extract, which are supposed to nurture our skin. There is the aforementioned glycerin and polymers to smooth the pores, plus illuminating mica, thickener, stabilizers, there are also mild preservatives, but nothing very harmful.

I must honestly admit that I expected a much worse composition when I bought it. Of course, it is not a natural cosmetic, but it is quite good, it fares better than other silicones in drugstores. It works well under makeup, because it moisturizes a little, sticks a little and smoothes a little, and I do not need or require more from the base. Used with natural foundations, it significantly improves their durability and operation.

However, as a serum for everyday use, it is a bit too weak. It definitely does nothing for me. In addition, the cosmetic contains illuminating mica and after its application it can be seen, although the particles are tiny, there is still a purple-pearl glow on the face, which does not look natural at all. On the other hand, you can’t see it under makeup, which is a pity, it would be a nice effect.

I also tested its third purpose, which is a lip primer , but also this role of Wibo Unicorn Tears did not work for me. It caused a slight burning sensation on my lips, I did not like the aftertaste or glitter, I quickly washed it off, I prefer a colorless balm.

Wibo Unicorn Tears

Summary:

Wibo Unicorn Tears is a product worth attention. I recommend trying this serum-base-primer, it should be tested on all skin types. It works well for me and definitely looks cute on the dressing table. It has a nice composition, not natural but not harmful, as it is not suitable as a base, it can work as a serum.
