Hello guys! Today I come to you with a review of Venita henna. Henna Color are herbal hair dyes, very famous in our cosmetic market, they have been on them for years, I even remember them from my childhood. They come in the form of powders in sachets and cream in tubes. Unfortunately, they don’t have very good ingredients, they are typical chemical hair dyes, and only number 4 chna contains pure henna powder with the addition of talcum powder.
I have been recommending this henna on Instagram for a long time, because I used it almost all the time in the past. First of all, I was tempted by the price for this capacity, which in the case of henna turned out very well and replaced another company that I usually bought, unfortunately very expensive. In the past, hennas cost between PLN 3-40 and were not available in drugstores.
With them, this modest sachet for a few zlotys (it used to be cheaper) was very good in terms of price, but unfortunately it was of much lower quality. However, it was perfect for dyeing roots , such a 25 g sachet was just right for them. I also used it to build color after lightening my hair along its length, it gave a gradual shade of joy, which I then covered with a light brown. I didn’t use the typical reddish, strong henna because it would be too dark. It was also great for gloss hair masks and scalp wipes.
In the Venita herb package , we get a 25 g bag of herbs, standard gloves and a short preparation instruction. This amount is enough for roots, gloss or short hair, nothing will be wasted and nothing will lie stale. This henna dyed light hair for light, fox red, and dark hair for a typical red. Of course, she was dying my gray hair and temples furiously orange, which didn’t look good, but I covered it with brown. I think the henna in these sachets could have been very stale or just plain poor, plus that talcum powder that only filled the volume.
Perhaps I also found an old batch once, because after my first use of this henna, nothing caught me, my hair did not even have shine. Unfortunately, my conclusion back then was that nothing would catch the gray and I went back to using chemical paints. Then, fortunately, I decided to try it again, I applied the same set aside and acidified mixture to my hair as in the first attempt. This time it caught beautifully. Since then, I have been buying henna and dyeing my roots that way quite regularly. Henna was available on the Internet at a low price, in drugstores a bit more expensive, and even disappeared.
Summary: is it worth buying these paints?
Soon after that, new hennas appeared, much cheaper and of better quality, which I wanted to try. It is worth mentioning here especially the herbal Venita paints, i.e. the same brand, which cost much better for 100 g than henna Color, and the henna is strong, right reddish and perfectly grips the hair. I am simply delighted with its quality and power, which is why I have never come back to sachets. I recommend them only for beginners, for cheap gloss or for a very light fox hair color on a blonde hair.
