Sainsbury’s shampoo and conditioner | apple green

What natural hair cosmetics should you buy in England?

Sainsbury’s products mark a new buying cycle from my recent trip to London. I thought that you might end up in the UK and want to buy something to wash or hang around the shops. And it is known that cosmetics are the best souvenir, because how practical!

So what to buy in England? Before going to London, I did a little research on English natural cosmetics. Because I decided to visit a friend and we go to the stores with her. I also replenished her supplies, unfortunately, it is difficult to buy cheap and good hair cosmetics in London, like in our country. The most popular drugstore ones prevail. Only in these tiny Indian shops you can sometimes hunt for pearls – oils, butters, even henna by weight! In the English TK Maxx, there are also American wonders and brushes. We didn’t have much time, but we managed to buy a few things anyway.

For starters, the apple kit: shampoo and conditioner bought from Sainsbury’s for less than a pound.

My opinion:

The shampoo comes in a huge, half-liter bottle made of hard plastic. It has a dark green color. It is a typical scraper, at the beginning of the composition we have sls, salt, apple extract, which is nothing special, a typical family shampoo in a huge bottle. But EDTA is quite high, so it is good for washing my hair before applying cassi and senna. In addition, the price and the smell of … A juicy, green apple, not at all artificial or irritating. It cleans hair well, foams like any strong detergent. And it’s probably enough for me forever. There is no need to write more about him. If it hadn’t been on promotion, almost for free, I probably wouldn’t have decided on it. But you can always use such a shampoo for something – washing brushes, hand washing, bathing, etc. MImo is all worth buying in English stores.

Composition:

Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Parfum, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Citric Acid, Benzophenone-4, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Sulfate, CI 19140, CI 15985, CI 15985, CI 15985 42090

My opinion:

The conditioner also has a nice scent, not as strong as shampoo, but still beautiful. It is also creamier and has a white and green color. It is not too rare, it does not drip from the fingers.

At first glance, considering the price and cheap looking bottle, I wouldn’t expect there to be a real extract in it, not just sls and an artificial fragrance. However, it is very little, it is behind perfume. The composition also includes a mild detergent and moisturizing glycerin.

what to buy in England

What is apple extract for in these products?

Apple extract  is a wealth of mineral salts, sugars, pectins and vitamins. Sugars in the form of fructose and sorbitol, organic acids include malic, citric, tartaric, lactic and salicylic acids. Vitamins are provitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin B.

The extract has antibacterial, strongly moisturizing and softening properties, improves epidermal permeability for active ingredients, so it is worth combining it with other valued extracts. (Description from the website natural-beauty.pl)

As you can see, the extract is supposed to soften, moisturize and smooth our hair, but I don’t think that in this amount anything can really work.

How to apply a hair conditioner?

Of course, the light conditioner itself, treated as a mask after washing (especially with this shampoo), will be much too light. After all, it is free of silicones, adhesives, oils, etc. and there is no chance of nourishing or adding weight to our hair. However, it can be good for children, for detangling tangled hair, which will surely be made even more pleasant by the smell It will be good for washing your hair with a conditioner.

Sainsbury's shampoo

I just bought Sainsbury’s conditioner encouraged by a friend who uses a whole series of fruit ones to wash her hair. It is one of the cheapest cosmetics with a good composition that we can buy in England. It is compatible with the Carly Girl CG method. It is also suitable for emulsifying oil and hair oiling with the use of a conditioner – glycerin. It also contains EDTA, maybe I’ll use it as a chelating mask. Maybe I will also use it to tune the mask if I manage to thicken it first (the recipe will of course appear on the blog).

What else can we use it for?

Summarizing:

Definitely the best cosmetic we can buy in England. The price for this capacity is excellent, I don’t even feel sorry for washing my hair with a conditioner every day. I will definitely buy other fragrances from this series.

Do you like the smell of green apples? What else are you buying in England?
