Planeta Organica, Provencal hair balm

Hi guys! Provencal balm, the lavender meadow in my bathroom. This is my second lotion from the Planeta Organica series – last time I bought Turkish Hamman lotion, which turned out to be a great, light everyday conditioner.

I spotted this balm in a small shop during my stay in Riga. It cost much less there than this series is sold in Polish, natural drugstores, so I decided to give it a chance and try this type as well. After some time, I find that the supplements of the entire series have quite similar effects, in fact they only differ in smell. How did it work for me?

Planeta Organica, Provencal hair balm

The most important ingredients and their properties

The rganiczna olive oil (Olea Europaea Organic Fruit Oil) – contains vitamins A, B, C, D, E, F, K, many minerals, amino acids, proteins and antiseptics. Such a valuable set activates the work of sebaceous glands, giving the hair all the substances necessary for its health.
6 Provencal herbs (rosemary, marjoram, mint, basil, thyme, oregano) – contain essential oils, organic acids, enzymes, vitamins and mineral substances that renew and strengthen the structure of damaged hair.
Organic Marjoram Extract (Organic Origanum Majorana Leaf Extract) – contains vitamin C, carotene, pectin, tannins and microelements, thus preventing hair loss and accelerating their growth.

My opinion:

Aesthetic packaging, typical for the entire world series of Planeta Organica. Lavender is immediately associated with Provence, it catches the eye. It has a pump that does not jam, dispenses small portions of the product.

Provencal balm itself is a green pudding, not too thin, easy to apply to the hair. Due to its density, the product is efficient and does not run off the hair. The conditioner smells strong, herbal and floral with a predominance of lavender, it is not as beautiful, perfumery as its Turkish counterpart, but still a very pleasant aroma. It also lasts a long time.

The conditioner does not burden the hair, smoothes and facilitates detangling the hair, it makes it loose and reflects from the roots. I did not expect any extraordinary effects from it, just like from the Turkish version.

I used it several times long as a quick conditioner and a bonnet mask for 20 minutes. The composition, rich in herbs and oils, should moisturize, weigh down and nourish the hair. However, I didn’t notice any major effects except for smoothing my hair, so I mainly rubbed it on my scalp. It did not significantly accelerate growth, but the hair is reflected from the root and soft.

Just like the Turkish lotion, it is good for emulsifying oils and washing the head, the omo method, mixing with the mask, tuning and for the hand mask – here it did a great job thanks to the olive oil content and, of course, a beautiful fragrance.

Summary:

Nevertheless, Provencal balm is a good, universal product with a rich composition. I do not regret buying it and maybe someday I will try the other versions in this series, although I am more tempted by the thick, nourishing Planeta Organica masks – they should definitely work better in caring for my hair. Do I recommend? Sure, if you want to try out a nice, light conditioner for many uses. Not if you want to use it traditionally as the only conditioner after washing your hair; it probably won’t work.
