Kallos BOTANIQ Superfruits, hair conditioner

Hey guys! I come to you today with another hair care cosmetics review, this time it’s Kallos BOTANIQ Superfruits.

It is a hair spray, i.e. a liquid conditioner or a mist for everyday use. I admit that I was interested in this new vegan series, but for now I was only tempted to try this type of cosmetic. I already have too much conditioner and shampoo in stock. I bought Kallos by complete accident. I was circling the shelves at Drogeria Hebe, looking for something interesting to try, when my eyes were caught by this small, green bottle. I use leave-in conditioner often, even twice a day, on dry hair, before combing and / or a siliconized hair serum, and always after washing, so it’s a good idea to stock up on such cosmetics. As a novelty, Kallos was then in a tempting promotion. It is a conditioner with an amazingly good composition – vegan, no alcohol, no mineral oils, silicones and no parabens. Unfortunately, it did not fully meet my expectations. If you are interested in the details of how the mist worked for me, I invite you to the rest of the post.

My review:

I use leave-in conditioner often, even twice a day, on dry hair, before combing and / or a siliconized hair serum, and always after washing, so it’s a good idea to stock up on such cosmetics. Kallos is a conditioner with an amazingly good composition – vegan, no alcohol, no mineral oils, silicones and no parabens. Unfortunately, it did not fully meet my expectations.

Package:

The packaging of the Kallos mist is a typical little dark plastic bottle with a green print, it actually refers to something botanical. The lotion has a good trickle that does not jam and a cap. The bottle is small, only 150 ml, but also quite efficient, I have been using it for at least two months.

Smell:

Kallos BOTANIQ Superfruits, a refreshing hair spray has a quite delicate and pleasant fragrance – not artificial, but nice. White color, after polishing it cannot be seen on the hair, it is quickly absorbed. Nevertheless, it has a very thick and heavy consistency.

Effectiveness:

Despite the name “refreshing hair spray” it is simply a leave-in conditioner. It makes detangling easier, but the product is sticky and oily – not suitable for spraying straight, dry hair as it looks dirty. I do not know how it happens, because the composition is nothing special, maybe it is about a high content of oils, but after using this conditioner, my hair quickly felt heavy, clumped and greasy quickly. He had to wash them much more than usual. I use this mist every day, under the silicone serums and oils, and I’m sure it’s her fault. Apart from the fact that it facilitates detangling and certainly nourishes the hair, it does not do anything positive with it, and it is very heavy.

In several blog reviews I read that the product works best as a rinse-free conditioner on damp hair, right after washing, and not as a daily spray, as recommended by the manufacturer. Perhaps it was the path to success, but I didn’t know it.

Summary:

The new Kallos series also includes a mask, a shampoo conditioner I believe, but I haven’t tested them yet. However, I will definitely not come back to this cosmetic. After using this conditioner, my hair was quickly burdened, clumped and greasy quickly. He had to wash them much more than usual. I use this mist every day and apart from the fact that it makes detangling easier and certainly nourishes my hair, it doesn’t do anything positive with it, and it weighs down a lot.

Perhaps the product would definitely work best as a leave-in conditioner on damp hair, right after washing. It was definitely a cheap and worth a try curiosity, but I will not go back to testing it and I would rather not recommend it.

Let me know if you use mists and which have worked best for you. I am very curious about the results!
