A few days ago I started the fenugreek wicker treatment. This herb is known in the environment of hair maniacs as a wonderful remedy to reduce hair loss and accelerate the growth of new ones – important for those who venture. The fenugreek wicker is also suitable for men, not only for androgenetic alopecia but also for plaque and for hair thickening.
I used this treatment myself a year ago, in the fall, when I really had a lot of them. The fenugreek wcierka did not help me much with falling out, it was also troublesome in the use of its “smell of broth” (similar to maggi) and slightly greasy my scalp. However, I have the impression that it caused faster hair growth. It is a pity that I did not measure the results then, but the difference in length was visible.
I decided to repeat the treatment. First of all, because I have a supply of fenugreek at home, which I only use for cassia dyeing, and it’s a shame to waste it. And secondly, I grow my hair and I will use alternately different wicks to provide the scalp with as much nutrients as possible.
Where to buy fenugreek
It is worth asking at the pharmacy, but they will probably have to bring it for us. So it’s best to look for fenugreek in online stores. Necessarily in the form of ground, not whole seeds.
Preparation of hair pieces
Ingredients:
- fenugreek
- water
- vodka
- rosemary essential oil
Preparation
Time needed: 10 minutes.
I keep the mixture in the fridge, in a glass pharmacy container bought at the flea market. It can be any closed container.
- A teaspoon (5 ml) of ground fenugreek seeds is poured with 100 ml of water, preferably distilled
I made a decoction of half the proportion, because it is better to use it faster and make a new grille than it would break. It is best to boil the decoction of fenugreek for about 10 minutes, then leave to cool.
- Then I strain the brew through a small strainer
I add a tablespoon of food vodka to it (not necessarily if you have a sensitive scalp, but it’s good to add something for preservation and better absorption into the skin).
You can also add a few drops of rosemary oil. It accelerates blood circulation, inhibits hair loss, treats dandruff and normalizes oily skin. I like to add it, especially to kill the fragrance of fenugreek, we also have an antibacterial effect and will extend the shelf life of my home.
You can also add mint oil, tea tree, lemon, etc. .. But no more than 5 drops of essential oils per 50 ml of infusion – can irritate. A decoction of fenugreek for hair.
How to use fenugreek seed?
Decoction of fenugreek should be rubbed into the scalp once or twice a day, i.e. in the morning or evening. I draw a syringe into a syringe (you can also buy it for a penny from a pharmacy) I measure 5 ml in it and inject the scalp with this amount of syringe. Then I do a thorough massage with my fingertips.
The treatment can be used daily for 3-4 weeks, then take a week off and you can repeat the treatment from the beginning. Although I would not recommend using only one piece at all times. It is better to use it several times a year, interchangeably with others for the best effects in hair growth and thickening.
For wear and beauty benefits, it can also be used as a face tonic. The fenugreek wicker can also heal acne, so when applying to hair, I never forget to wipe the skin with a wet cotton swab. It can also be used on eyelashes, as a foundation for hair oiling, a base for face masks, etc. Remains of seeds can also be used for herbal masks for the scalp or for face masks: it moisturizes and gives them a more spreadable texture.
I will continue the treatment for a month, replacing the fluid with a new one every few days. Then I’ll measure the hair and see what the effects will be.
