Hey loved ones! Today I have another entry for you about body care – Farmona from the sweet secret series, peeling mask and body butter, chocolate with chili and fruit. I got these cosmetics for Valentine’s Day and I use it with pleasure as a relaxing spa after a hard, cold day. They smell really wonderful.
They are not natural cosmetics and I do not really like their compositions and plastic packaging. Nevertheless, it was a gift and I am going to use it to the end, because using them is a great pleasure, and I am not as restrictive with natural ingredients as for hair or face. Package:
Farmona cosmetics are packed in a low, unscrewed plastic jar of good quality. The graphics are aesthetic and are associated with exotic holidays. Inside there is a foil sticker that protects the cosmetics from opening. It’s good that the colors of the caps are different, so when I reach in the shower I don’t get confused.
Action:
The consistency of Farmona peeling is actually thick and full-bodied, it is a paste of oils and brown-colored sugar. Strong smell, smell even without opening the package, cocoa, dessert, delicious and edible, like chocolate pudding with a hint of spices. Very durable on the skin, also stays on clothes. Not necessarily a good sign – I would prefer to use products with better ingredients, and without irritating fragrances.
If I hadn’t looked at the ingredients, you would have imagined that it really is a natural product like homemade sugar scrub. Unfortunately, just like Green Pharmacy peels, the composition is paraffinic, not the best, not the richest, but well, I found that the peeling type spread only for a few minutes, and if done once a week, it will not dry it too much, on the contrary – it will leave it a protective layer against going out to winter frost. Paraffin does not clog the pores of the skin and should not cause imperfections, but it disgusts me and I’d rather not use it.
Peeling and Farmona cream did not irritate my skin even after depilation. After contact with water, the peeling quickly dissolved, leaving the skin soft, smooth and fragrant, with a characteristic paraffin smoothing, aka an oil layer. I also tried to leave it on the body for a few minutes, because the manufacturer recommended so on the packaging called it a peeling mask, but in my opinion it does not give any effects, it is an ordinary peeling that does not work miracles, but it will not hurt us.
After such peeling, I no longer use lotions, the skin is already sufficiently greasy. Sometimes, however, as part of the home fragrance spa, she applies the Farmona sweet secret body butter cream, and then such an appetizing scent spreads over the entire bedroom. This butter was a surprise, I was hoping for a very meaty texture, here it is like a thick balm, artificially thickened and fluffed, it is strangely put on the fingers and spread on the skin, there is a lot of slippage. It is very efficient, I used twice less than peeling. The cream smells a bit milder and is quickly absorbed and smoothes the skin, but it disappears immediately and does not moisturize or lubricate it. Sometimes I use it separately after a shower and as a night cream or hand mask, and it works great for me.
To sum up: other interesting products that I will enjoy using further, but due to the poor composition, I will definitely not reach for them from the store shelf again. However, it is worth trying for yourself.
