Execution:

Time required:  10 min ..

  1. We prepare and measure the ingredients. The banana must be peeled and cut, and the congealed coconut oil dissolved.
  2. We mix the banana.Banana is best cut into slices and blended in a blender, because when crushed with a fork leaves pieces on the hair difficult to rinse.
  3. Mix.In a bowl, mix all the above ingredients thoroughly until they form a thick and compact mass. If it is too thin, you can add starch, which has an additional smoothing effect and thickens the mask without changing its properties.
  4. We put on the mask. The banana mask can be applied to freshly washed, dry hair or used before washing. We apply the mask to the entire length of the hair and scalp.
  5. Compress. Then we make a warm compress from foil and a towel, wait at least 20 minutes.
  6. Washing off the mask. After use, we wash the scalp with a shampoo, because oils could overburden it. At the end of the care, you can use an emollient mask that will wet the cuticles.

Recipe Notes

The mask is moisturizing and emollient, but after adding yogurt it becomes PEH. The recipe can of course be modified, making this mask more protein-rich, for example by adding an egg or a heumectant with only honey and banana.

The banana hair mask is best used regularly, e.g. once a month for the best results in nourishing and strengthening the hair.
