Babushka Agafia’s recipes, damaged hair balm

Hi guys! Babushka Agafia’s hair balm \is definitely one of my favorite hair cosmetics. It may be light, but the hair is soft and pleasantly fragrant, and the scalp is soothed. The balm has a consistency that I associate with vanilla-scented pudding (with the addition of herbal honey?), It is really very pleasant to use. Very good, light and lightweight. Good for everyday use. It is a pity that I am running out of time and I denounce it.

Babushka Agafia's balm for hair

Composition analysis:

We have a simple condition based on water with herbal extracts, then there is a mild detergent, moisturizing cetyl alcohol, mulberry extract, two light, non-penetrating oils from flax and rosehip, again a bit moisturizing panthenol and that’s about all. The standard composition of natural Russian hair balms 🙂

Additionally, we have a wealth of herbs:
  • White mulberry (Morus Alba Extract) – cleans and moisturizes the hair, prevents hair loss, gives it shine and elasticity.
  • Linen (Linum Usitatissimum Oil) – nourishes and moisturizes hair, improves elasticity and better styling regulates the skin’s fat balance.
  • Rosehip (Rosa Canina) – nourishes, moisturizes and tones the hair.
  • (Herbal Water Complex): Rhododendron dauricum – cleansing and lightening skin discoloration.
  • Great Oman (Inula helenium) – has antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
  • Siberian clematis (Atragene sibirica) – regulates and improves blood circulation in the skin.
  • Helichrysum Arenarium – contains biologically active substances, has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, gently cleanses and cares for the skin.
  • Dahurian goldenrod (Solidago dahurica) – has anti-itching and antibacterial properties.
  • Common spire (Erodium cicitarium) – has antibacterial, hemostatic and astringent properties, rich in tannins, mineral salts, vitamins A and C.
  • Ural gnidosz (Pedicularis uralensis) – soothes skin irritations.
  • Stoneware raspberry (Rubus saxatillis) – has moisturizing, nourishing and anti-inflammatory properties. It contains vitamins A, C, H and vit. group B.
  • Common nettle (Urtica Dioica) – strengthens the hair, prevents greasy hair and hair loss, prevents dandruff.
  • Medical soap (Saponaria Officinalis) – contains natural saponins, foaming agents that gently and gently cleanse the skin and hair.
  • Chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita) – anti-inflammatory, soothing and nourishing effect.
  • Japanese butterflies (Silene Jenisseensis) – contains natural foaming substances, gently cleanses and cares.

  • Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria Baicalensis) – has antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant properties.
  • Aromatic beetle (Polygonatum odoratum) – has anti-inflammatory, nourishing and astringent properties, accelerates the healing of wounds and swelling.
  • White light (Lamium album) – has anti-inflammatory and regenerating properties.

My opinion:

Of the minuses, the packaging must definitely be replaced. Green, made of hard plastic, with a cork cover, it may look natural (minus ordinary plastic) but the bottle opening is definitely too large. It’s easy to pour too much lotion onto your hand and you have to put it back inside. This is my method of dealing with the hole – I pour a little into the hollow of my hand so you can control it. A plug in the lotion would be very useful.

The action of Babushka Agafia’s balm is gentle, it is a light product and we cannot expect too much nourishment from it. If used traditionally after washing, it will certainly not be enough for most people, especially with damaged hair. Its regenerative effect is slight, but it definitely improves the smoothing of the cuticles. Despite the high content of herbal extracts, it does not dry out the hair. I used it together with the Ziaja mask also for dyed hair, which contains silicone and adhesive, thanks to which it added weight to the hair and protected my dry ends. Babushka Agafia’s balm is also suitable for washing hair and emulsifying oil – it contains delicate detergents at the beginning of the composition.

The smell, as I have already mentioned, is wonderful, honey-herbal with a hint of vanilla, creates a very pleasant duet with the consistency of a thin pudding.

You don’t have to follow the manufacturer’s information that Balsam Babushka Agafia is for dyed hair – it is suitable for all hair types 🙂

Agafia balm is a typical, very light daily conditioner that facilitates detangling, leaves the hair unburdened, delicately fragrant and pleasant to the touch. Hair will not become a smooth sheet after it, but you can see that it adds shine to it. I would love to buy it again, maybe some other kind. He is great!
