Anwen, Mint It Up – peeling shampoo scrub for the scalp

Hello guys! I come to you today with another short review of hair care cosmetics, this time it is Anwen, Mint It Up – scalp peeling shampoo.

I tested this cosmetic some time ago because I got it in cooperation with the Anwen store. It was my first cosmetic of this type, i.e. a ready-made scalp scrub. So far I have used home peelings based on clay or coffee grounds, so I wanted to finally try the branded ones. I am glad that more and more of them are entering the Polish cosmetics market.
I used it once a week, together with the hair growth mask treatment, and after a month of regular use I can see the results. The scalp is clean, there are no irritations, my hair is greasy more slowly. The application is also easy and very pleasant to use, because the shampoo has a lovely sweet mint scent and leaves the scalp fresh and clean. I will definitely be testing more of this type of scalp cosmetics. If you were interested in this product, I invite you to the rest of the post and my short review.

Anwen, Mint It Up - peeling shampoo for the scalp

Anwen, Mint It Up – peeling shampoo

Description:

Refreshing MINT IT UP shampoo perfectly cleanses the scalp thanks to peeling apricot kernel particles. The addition of an enzyme that helps to remove excess keratinized epidermis makes the skin, after using the shampoo, more intensively absorb the active ingredients from the treatments applied after it. Urea moisturizes the scalp, while the licorice derivative prevents excessive sebum secretion and has a soothing effect, reducing itching. The shampoo gives the hair volume at the roots, which keeps it fresh for longer. Peppermint oil gives it a fresh, pleasant scent, improves blood supply to the scalp and stimulates hair growth.

How to use: Apply a small amount of shampoo to wet scalp. Massage thoroughly and gently for a while and leave it for a few minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with water. Use once a week.

To facilitate the rinsing of particles, we recommend using a conditioner or mask after washing.

Composition: Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Urea, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Seed Powder, Acrylates Copolymer, Propanediol, Polysorbate 20, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Bacillus Ferment, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Cetrimonium Chlorumide, 10 Peppermint) Leaf Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Parfum.

Anwen, Mint It Up - peeling shampoo for the scalp

Anwen, Mint It Up – peeling shampoo for the scalp, my opinion:

Packaging:

Anwen peeling is closed in a convenient and aesthetic package like a typical hair shampoo, it is easy to take it out of the package and use it up to the end. Anwen’s peeling performance is great for its low capacity as you don’t need to use a lot to clean the scalp thoroughly. I like the aesthetics of the bottle and the careful workmanship of the bottle.

Smell and action:

I tested this cosmetic some time ago because I got it in cooperation with the Anwen store. It was my first cosmetic of this type, i.e. a ready-made scalp scrub.

I used it regularly once a week, along with the hair growth mask treatment, and after a month of regular use I can see the results. The scalp is clean, there are no irritations, my hair is greasy more slowly. It has a very good and natural composition, cleans the scalp nicely, the hair is soft and delicate. It is easily washed off the hair and does not burden the scalp, even if I only wash my hair with a conditioner.

I was expecting a typical spicy mint scent, but the peeling has a rather delicate, slightly sweet, lovely sweet mint scent and leaves my scalp fresh and cleansed. I have no irritation, my hair is greasy slower. The application is also easy and very pleasant to use.

It is a denser texture, creamy gel + peeling particles than a typical peeling. The particles are just right, not too large and not too small, they do not irritate the skin, the shampoo itself is strong and cleansing, and the enzyme also acts as an enzyme peeling. Jets is a 3-in-one turbo cleansing, i.e. mechanical peeling, enzymatic peeling and shampoo-scraper on a strong detergent, all softened with additives to leave the skin clean and fresh. Great idea!

I am very pleased with the use of this Anwen scrub. I will definitely be testing more of this type of scalp cosmetics.

Summary:

I do not know if the peeling will cause faster hair growth, but it will definitely help maintain a healthy scalp, which will certainly contribute to this growth. Therefore, it is worth including this type of product in your care, for example in the form of clay added to the shampoo at the beginning.
I am very glad that I tested this product. I have to say that it was a very enjoyable experience and I will definitely come back to it as well as test more of this type of scalp cosmetics.
