A simple and cheap home-made mixture that will help fight high cholesterol and hypertension

In the times of the ever-growing threat of civilization diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, we are increasingly turning to traditional methods of treatment for help; we are returning to natural products that our ancestors successfully used in the fight for health and well-being.

One of the most popular is honey, which is mainly associated with a healthier alternative to sweetening sugar. However, properly used and prepared, it can become an excellent remedy. The rest of the ingredients are also known for their miraculous healing properties. Combined in the right proportions can be an effective remedy for high blood pressure and lowering cholesterol. How to prepare a natural preparation from them?

Home preparation with honey and garlic for hypertension and cholesterol


3 tablespoons of organic honey
1 large clove of garlic
a piece of fresh ginger root
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

A method of preparing

Peel and grate (or squeeze in the press) clove of garlic. Rub the ginger root the same way. You can also add dried ginger from the bag, but the mixture will not have such good medicinal properties. Squeeze lemon juice, without pulp and pips. If the honey is very thick, first put it into a container and rub it with a spoon of lemon juice, then mix it thoroughly with the rest of the ingredients. You can do this manually or with a blender, it is important that it is thoroughly ground to the consistency of mousse or paste, depending on the honey you have used.

The mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of several days, then a fresh portion should be made.

Why these ingredients? 


It is rich in potassium, calcium, sodium and B vitamins that prevent the accumulation of cholesterol in the blood vessels. The acetylcholine contained in honey also strengthens the capacity of the myocardium.


It contains an enzyme that improves cholesterol synthesis. It also has anti-thrombotic, anti-edema and hypotensive properties.

Garlic facilitates the dilation of blood vessels and increases their flexibility. It counteracts a heart attack, works anti-atherosclerotic and adds strength. Regular consumption of garlic effectively helps to lower blood pressure.

Apple cider vinegar and lemon juice
Apple cider vinegar contains a lot of hello and balances the pH level in the body. Lemon juice, rich in vitamin C, seals and tones the blood vessels. They reduce cholesterol and lower blood thinning.

The mixture is best eaten before the main meals (at least ten minutes). We take it no more than three times a day. Regular use should produce visible results after just one week. Do not exceed the recommended dose!

Remember, however, that such treatment with natural methods should be treated only as an aid to appropriate therapy recommended by a specialist doctor.
